The four teams in the west that could win the championship are the Warriors, Spurs, Thunder and Clippers.

Between the Suns, Lakers, Mavs and Kings...one of these four teams will get the 8th spot in the West.

Shame Chicago didn't resign him. I felt that's where he was best
Loved him on the Bulls

Out Vazquez, in Corey Joseph. Out Amir, in Carroll. And they still have James Johnson who is a decent backup. Bismack is a decent addition as well if they can afford him a role. I don't think they should be worse.

Hawks loss Carroll but I don't think they fall too far. They get sefolosha back and have minutes for Baze or THJ. Also got rid of that terrible back up C, for Splitter, who would fit right in with their defense... A good look after their front court got punked by TT/Moz/Bron imo

That's the point....

His contract season wasn't anything spectacular

How was it a fluke when he basically did what he did the year before but just shot better from 3 and played better defense?

He didn't put up 25 a game and the Raptors don't need that, what he did is easily replicable and expected of an NBA player in their prime years.

$4 year, $60 million production......

I disagree

Um.... that's basically a mid level deal with the new cap, educate yourself.

That's a great price for what he provides through his prime years.

Can you give me some players that defend 3 positions while shooting 39% from 3 and can be a secondary ballhandler?

I'll wait.

no one has the Rockets top 4 in the west this year?
they added lawson and have arguably the best SG in the L. Also some of the young guys like TJ and Capela got some good experience in their playoff run

Ain't nothing to argue, Harden is the best 2 in the league.

I understand the new salary cap perfectly. It's just mind boggling that DeMarre Carroll is the highest paid player on a NBA team. Literally, two offseasons ago, he was a journeyman, literally playing for a spot on a team.
