until shown otherwise, i firmly believe Houston has the best package to give portland in a sign and trade. If he signs straight out in free agency that's different because i think the spurs are his best option, but harden-LMA-dwight isn't bad.

oh, and the skrippas.

Where does everyone think WCStein will fall? A lot of "insiders" have him dropping substantially

they can lose him for nothing or they can trade him for what they're offered. they don't have leverage here. it's either take a deal or he can walk to SA with portland getting nothing in return.

It very well could be that either Karl planned all along to just get a paycheck and bounce, or he got to Sacramento and said "Wow this situation sucks, asterisk this, im getting myself canned"

Of those two scenarios, I'd lean towards the latter. None of these reports seem to fit his MO. Aside from brief coaching stints really early on, and for all his faults, Karl has never been the type to wear out his welcome in a matter of months. He spent seven years in Seattle, five in Milwaukee, and nine in Denver.

@do work son, have you been keeping an eye on CF?  Doc has been going crazy on Twitter.  Hoping tonight is a special one for H-Town

True, but some reports say he was conspiring about wanting Cousins gone as far back as the all-star break (so right before he was hired).  While simultaneously telling Vivek he had no problem with working with Cousins....
