Yes I know that doesn't make sense for LMA or POR to do that, only benefits the Rockets.

Lol at Karl getting fired on his day off.

Anywhere but the Lakers.
Blazers fans on twitter been calling for the team to sign both Lopezs dubbing them the new "Twin Towers"

Now they're saying George Karl absolutely won't be fired.

Something's gotta give. That situation can't be smoothed out. It'll only get worse.

Also, didn't know Vonleh was only 19.

POR can't force him to do a S&T though, they have zero leverage. He's either going to be a Spur, Laker, or Mav.

but he can do them a solid on his way out if he wants  (edit: this is assuming he wants to come to houston)

they could easily turn and trade ariza for more. he's got a good contract. papanikalou is the same considering he isn't guaranteed. and jones costs 2 millions. there's worse offers out there.

Said, Vivek has considered firing Karl just 4 months after being Hired.

So does this raise a question whether players got Karl fired in Denver or Karl did it to himself?

He already did them a solid by saying he's not resigning. They get cap space to go after, Monroe, Love etc. to try and replace him. Again nobody else who wants him needs to give up pieces for him. Nor does POR need to take on salaries.

The Rockets aren't even on his list.

LMA to the dubs :nerd:

lol he'd still come off the bench for draymoney

they would trade dray in a hearbeat if it mean lma come in

think so? idk man..theres a lot that dray does that lma wouldn't eem think of.

I doubt it. It's about roles, not talent. LMA cannot replicate what Dray does for that team.

don't think so.... lma would make them regret paying bougut & be happy someone else pays dray

Chris Broussard is reporting that tho....

you sure you want to run with that?
High-ranking Kings source said George Karl not going anywhere, not even discussed. Divac in particular livid about the flood of speculation

Kings source: No plan to fire George Karl - absolutely no discussion on that. Vivek Ranadve has given complete authority to Vlade Divac

At this point, I'd think it would be more likely that George Karl resign, before getting fired by Kings. And don't see that likely either

Karl got fired for continually underachieving. Granted, those were tough Western Conferences, but he made it out of the first round once in nine seasons. The last straw was losing to Golden State with home court advantage.

nobody who wants him without needing to give up pieces are in position to win. you said NYK, LAL, DAL. the spurs don't have the room (yet). the rockets can make the room available.

yall can say it's ridiculous and that's fine, but it should work under the cap and it's plausible.

the blazers could just as easily send the guys we send them in a S&T for monroe or love. they don't have to, but it's plausible.

edit: again, this is based on IF LMA wants to come to houston. if he doesn't, then this isn't an issue. we won't find out for another 2-3 weeks anyways
