It was all good just a year ago.

Sign and trading Jimmy Butler is looking like a viable option

Suns really have a 150 million dollar backcourt with both guys under 6'3. Jeff Sarver tripping.

One of them is getting traded, probably Bledsoe.
I saw that out there, I feel like its gonna be hard, no team out there besides Indy off the top of my head would really be a suitable trade partner.

Eric Bledsoe and Alex Len for Roy Hibbert. Everyone wins

How the hell would Phoenix benefit from that?

Who do you guys think should be traded from the sixers bigs a
Who do you guys think should be traded from the sixers bigs and what are our available options?

I'm lost.
I say keep all three until you get a better idea of how Embiid's gonna fit because right now he's the odd man out. Noel/Okafor are your starters. They all still have to develop, a lot. Right now, it doesn't seem as though any combination of the three fundamentally "works". If you want Noel/Okafor you'd want Noel at the 5 to protect the rim because Okafor's defense just isn't there yet BUT Okafor's offensive game is best suited under the rim. And Noel at the 4 doesn't work because even though he can guard the 4, he can't step out and shoot yet. Embiid/Okafor seems more suitable because Embiid is more of a two way player than Okafor is so you can plug Embiid in at the 5 because honestly he can't play anywhere else. But the same problem with Okafor at the 4 persists. You want Okafor playing in the post offensively, but defensively it doesn't make sense if you have Noel and Embiid.

Noel/Embiid makes the most sense because Embiid can defend the paint while Noel steps out. You still need Noel to develop more of an offensive game, but he can get there and be efficient. I REALLY want to keep Noel. You just don't see bigs that can run the floor and defend like he does. He's such an important piece to have and gives you so much defensively it's hard to give that instinct and talent up. Between Okafor and Embiid, I just don't know who I'd rather keep. Obviously Joel is more of a two way player than Okafor is, and I love both of their offensive games. I've been favoring Okafor because I know he'll start for me next season, but it's easy to forget just how good and talented Embiid is. These are two guys that have been compared to Tim Duncan and Hakeem. How do you decide?

It's a great problem to have. A lot depends on Embiid's health.

Solid answer!

Yes, I do agree to keep them for the meantime and see how things pan out with Embiid's health. I was thinking maybe it would be best to trade EMbiid because of his health but then I saw some of his pre-draft workout videos and oh my lord. I remember why he would have gone a head of Wiggins and Parker. His moves are so fluid and effortless.

In terms of Jah + Noel to start the season (assuming Embiid will take time to recover), didn't a Duncan/ David Robinson tandem work just fine? I know it's a different era but that doesn't mean that going big is obsolete. If Jah is consistently compared to Duncan and Hakeem, can't he develop a jumper and play old school basketball?

As of today, there does not seem to be wrong answer for who to trade (assuming we will get a star return), I do value defensive bigs over offensive bigs any time of the day. So I would keep Noel, he plays with a chip on his shoulder and goes 100% every time. Baring injuries, I will pick Noel/ Embiid over any other options.

Roy can't play 30pmg. Been said he was overrated. Everyone got so caught up in the "verticality", "rim protector", hype and trends. That was crystallized when he blocked Melo's dunk in the playoffs and had success against a weak Miami front like.

What Roy Hibbert really is, is a lumbering big.... who's really inefficient, can't guard p&r and can't rebound or finish inside.

His real value is great rim protecter which can be had off the bench for 20-25mpg.

roy hibbert is basically the exact opposite of what every team is looking for

bledsoe is a killer, hope he lands with a contender.

E.Bled is actually extremely regular with elite athleticism. Darker, shorter Shannon Brown.

Hibbert is probably the only big in the NBA I'd take Noah over.

Noah is in my dog house but at least he can hit double digits in rebounds, sometimes

Don't understand how you can be 7'2 and log 2 rebounds in a game

Na that's a terrible comparison, Shannon Brown could never play PG, be a consistent triple double threat or put up 29/13/9 with 4 blocks against Russell Westbrook.
