Khris Middelton and Aminu are the steals of last night. Can not believe that Middelton is not getting maxed out.
@TasMelas 5 years/$70 mil too much for Khris Middleton? Overpay in yr 1, but with rising cap, equal to $10M in yr 2, $8M in yr 3, even better in 4/5.
Exactly. I saw that and couldnt believe it, and its a 5 year which HURTS Middleton. I gotta think theres gonna be a player option for that 5th year.

The 5 year max isnt always the best thing for every player, this is a case where I think its a detriment.
At the end of Anthony Davis' new 5 year deal he'll only be 27

Dude will get maxed out AGAIN after that with a new team maybe
Gonna be the highest paid player EVER

So I wake up this morning that the people the Clips called last night were Gerald Green and Wes Johnson. I think I'll go back to bed. #powermoves

Dunleavy returning to Chicago. Three years-$15M.

Monroe meeting with Portland brass this morning. Does he sleep?

Boom: Paul Millsap met with Orlando Magic in Atlanta at 12:01 last night, high interest between both. Will decide between Magic and Hawks.

Oh geez, is Middleton that really good?
Shot way above 40% from three, good/great defender, and young. The thing about that contract is that its gonna be on the downswing while his performance will be on the upswing. Playing 10Ms for that guy when he's sliding into his prime? Sign me up.

Oh nice. I didn't watch Bucks or Pistons games so I don't know much about Middleton.

Dragic signing for below max ($90M vs. $108M) could be huge for luxury tax bill and Wade's chances at getting max 1-year.

Also, very happy for my son MIddleton getting paid.

Anybody who thinks that's an overpay ain't really knowledgeable of the #'s.

Bucks won, when he's in his prime he's going to be underpaid giving them room to throw crazy numbers at Bari/Giannis and anybody else they bring in/target.

Doc really might be the worse GM ever, he needs to fire himself as President and just be coach.

Did yall have enough room for Aminu? He would've been perfect.

WOW, Orlando going for it.

Knew my man Tobias was gone.

Glad to see the media yesterday showing us how L.A. is apparently going to have a 30 man roster.

The Los Angeles Lakers are exploring options to trade D'Angelo Russell to the Sacramento Kings for center DeMarcus Cousins, reports The Los Angeles Daily News.

Chicago Bulls shooting guard Jimmy Butler would like to sign a one-year contract with the Los Angeles Lakers, reports Mark Medina of the Los Angeles Daily News.

ESPN's Chris Broussard reported that the Lakers, Mavericks and Bucks all have interest in Cavaliers guard Iman Shumpert

ESPN's Chris Broussard reports the Lakers and Kevin Love have scheduled a meeting for some time this week

The Lakers are among seven teams that are expected to pursue former No. 2 pick Derrick Williams as well as Carlos Boozer, Broussard adds.

USA Today's Jeff Zillgitt reports four teams are set to meet with Pistons big man Greg Monroe: the Bucks, Lakers, Knicks and Trail Blazers.

Los Angeles Clippers center DeAndre Jordan is expected to meet with the Dallas Mavericks, Los Angeles Lakers, New York Knicks and Clippers once the free agent period begins, reports USA Today’s Sam Amick.

League executives believe the Lakers want to sign both of the top two big men on the market—LaMarcus Aldridge and DeAndre Jordan— Adrian Wojnarowski writes.

The Los Angeles Times reported that Aldridge was leaning toward signing with the Lakers.

While it remains to be seen whether guard Dwyane Wade will leave the Miami Heat after opting out of his contract on Monday, Chris Mannix reported that there is mutual interest between Wade and L.A.

The contract was good for the bucks. He's 23 and improved every year.

A) If I'm Paul Pierce I stay in Washington. Yeah Doc might be in LA and it's the hometown but Washington is on the rise in the lesser conference (though that might be changing), younger guys who are growing but still need veteran leadership? Can't do better than that.

B) ATL >>> ORL in terms of lifestyle but that Hawks squad most likely hit their ceiling. Orlando is young and on the rise, no point in aiming low.
