[Knight] was a backup plan of sorts after the Suns were pressured into trading Goran Dragic to the Miami Heat. Yet because of injuries, Knight played just 11 games with the Suns.

Fellow Suns point guard Eric Bledsoe is widely believed to be on the trade block, though it remains to be seen if he is going to be moved. Bledsoe signed a five-year, $70 million extension of his own with Phoenix in September. Phoenix was 39-43 last season.
