I don't believe at all that the Suns are not trading Eric Bledsoe, or that they've closed themselves off to that option.

The report from June 29th stated two things: 1.) The Suns are open to trading Eric Bledsoe, 2.) The Suns are going to sign Brandon Knight to a five-year, $70 million deal.

The chances are, if one of those things were right two days in advance, the other one is too.

Kyle Singler has agreed to a five-year extension worth nearly $25 million with the Oklahoma City Thunder, league sources told Yahoo Sports.
Singler, 27, rapidly grew into an important part of the Thunder’s bench upon arrival from Detroit in a three-team trade. He has averaged 8.1 points and 3.4 rebounds in three seasons in the NBA.

Agent Greg Lawrence of Wasserman Media Group completed the deal with GM Sam Presti Wednesday in OKC.

Singler was a restricted free agent. He can't officially sign the contract until July 9 when the league's free-agent moratorium ends.
