Have the Wizards peaked as currently constructed?

In my opinion, unless guys like Beal and Otto make some drastic leaps I don't see this team being any better than they were last year and wouldn't be surprised if they regressed a bit.

Peaked? Hell no!

Wall will just be turning 25 before the season, Beal just turned 22, and Otto is the same age.

They beat the brakes off the Raptors...Wall's health COMPLETELY altered the series vs. the Hawks. I don't think there will be any regression, barring a long-term injury to one of it's stars.

Beal stepped up big time in the playoffs as did Porter. I think this is the season where we'll see Beal really elevate his game. Got high hopes for him.

As far as Otto, there is a lot to be excited about. He made his mark in the playoffs and became a reliable 3 & D guy and he also said he wouldn't mind being used playing some stretch 4 this season depending on the lineup.

I think they'll eclipse 50 wins this year.

If all of this happened I wouldn't even be surprised. They definitely have youth on their side.

And if Beal looks like he did in the postseason then they can for sure eclipse 50 wins. Especially if Otto makes the leap. For the first time in his career for the 2nd half of last season especially, he looked like a confident pro and that makes a world of difference with him.

I don't think Otto and Beal will make that jump though personally. We'll see though. I like beal however so I hope he proves me wrong.

Still think they can easily be the third best team in the east if all goes well for them. After the Cavs and the Heat, the parity with a lot of those teams is strong with washington probably a tad bit better than everyone else.

I think Otto can average around 10/7 this year. He'll have every opportunity to do so with Pierce gone. Otto is gonna get major minutes.

Shmurda/Stanley/Drummond is going to be nasty, Stanley is my sleeper ROY with Mudiay.

If Ersan stays healthy and Jennings can recover his form they going to be fun.

Detroit is a sleeper.

Reggie Snipes is about to show every NT GM why he was worth the $ and could have been paid more even.

Dude is perfect for Detroit attitude wise, Coach will work the rest of him out. Reggie and him are lock for Playoffs:

Going to be a battle to get in the east playoffs. Knicks, Pistons, Heat and Pacers didn't get in last year. Each of those teams is fully capable of getting in this season

Celtics, Nets are the teams who are most likely to fall out from last year

Tough to guarantee a spot for Detroit, don't think you would put $150 on that @a-friend

Knicks are gonna be byke this year :pimp:

we replaced the tank with solid 2-way role players who are gonna do their job day in & day out...also this:

Was just thinking about the Pacers and honestly could only remember 2 guys on the roster - PG and Hill.

The competition for the last couple spots in the East should be tight.

George Hill
Monta

PG

Jordan Hill

Myles Turner

Stuckey

Miles

Solomon Hill

Budinger

Good coach

They have a million Hill's on their team

Pacers are gonna struggle with hill as their starting 5. Then again it is the east so all bets are off

We know why the Knicks didn't get in, Phil has sabotaged and continues to sabotage the team, I swear on purpose too.

We know why Heat didn't get in, the same basic reason Indiana didn't. Indiana had every PG and Every SG and every SF 1-3 string hurt every two/three weeks. This is perhaps the reason you didn't know any names on the team lawdog.

Hibbert though, nobody is winning with him.
Dude actually like NFL style pass blocked for his PG like he was a WR. Like WHAT?!! Who does that on a ball court?

Right, but I'm talking about this season

Knicks, Heat, Pacers and Pistons all have a good chance of making it

But for you to say Pistons are a lock, you aint tryin put $150 on it. I will bet you straight up

Turner is basically hill at this stage. I guess my point is that any team will struggle if they don't have rim protection/interior defense
Eh, Turner is pegged as being a rim protector. No guarantees with a rookie so they also have Mahimi

I mean the Celtics don't have a rim protector either but they have a good chance of making it again
