Dirk's playoff averages of 26 and 10 which is only shared by Hakeem and KAJ made him clown proof. He never had the supporting cast the rest of the all time greats had.

Of course he had bad games, but everyone does.
That's not an excuse for winning 67 regular season games, the #1 seed, and the MVP; yet not being able to win 3(!) playoff games that year,

exactly. imagined how dirk would be looked at if 2011 never happen. he'd be just a little above chris paul status.

No, he'd be right next to the all-time choking dog, Karl Malone. Dirk perservered and won that 2011 title with one of the greatest individual playoff runs in history (and quietly one of the great team runs, as the Mavs only lost five games). That's why I have Dirk ahead of Malone on the all-time list.

anybody watching Croatia?

Dirk is a well respected individual. He has his signature knee high, inner thigj rise jumper. He also plays with passion and for the love of the game. He proally had wild stories with Steve Nash that has yet to surface. He is HOF status.

I seriously hope there's nobody on here who would suggest Dirk isn't a HOFer. He's top 10 all-time in scoring. That alone makes him a lock. The MVP and ring are just gravy.

Dirk was always a HOFer. He was just soft as hell until he grew a pair and manned up. Then his dismantling of the western conference and LBJ only cemented his 1st ballot status from even being questioned by someone stupid.

Aside from the numbers, ring and MVP, Dirk changed how a position is played. That alone gets him into the HOF. When other NBAers past and present just have to shake their head when they watch someone play, then you know that someone is special.

Dirk is a HOFer based off of him being the greatest European born-and-raised basketball player of all time. All the stats and awards are gravy and sides.

Wassup w/ gravy and sides?

He's more of like the White version opposite of Duncan.  His lubricated jumper is silkly smoothe.  No chaffing, no razor born.  Just legit smoothness.  His toe in chambered FT stance is also sturdy as hell.  Sacrifices his knees every time at the 'charity' stripe,, but you don't see him w/ an ACL like all these soft nerlens noel, rondo, rose types.  I can see these two playing until they are 49 because they can take care of their bodies.

No need google the analogy, i put a picture of cambered in for yall.  Save yall the hassle of googling (images).  laters fam.

It's 74 degrees right now and I have the heat in my car on. I don't like the cold..
Son, 74 degrees is cold to you?

Bahamians in general don't like the cold (I personally love it) but 74 degrees is ideal weather here given how the climate is year round.
I thought my fellow Caribbean would understand me man. I didn't see a winter until seven years old. I wasn't born for this.
I saw snow for the first time when I was living in Atlanta for school.

Thought it was cool, hopped on MARTA to head to school only to find downtown ATL a ghost town because of a couple of inches of snow.

Reminds me of a comment in that thread in General about Atlanta getting shut down due to that snowstorm a few years ago.

"Dudes in ATL can walk in 6 inch heels, but can't handle a couple of inches of snow."

Experienced an ice storm in the ATL as well. The visual of it was cool but trying to walk on a sidewalk/street cover in a sheet of ice is no bueno.

Honestly, even though I watched it happen -- and even rooted for them against the Cavs -- I still have a hard time accepting that the Warriors are the defending NBA champs.

Man I still tell that story to people. One inch of snow and it was code red for seven days. It's comical.
