I think d'lo Mr. Noho will benefit from being able to play off the ball and ease his way to the pg duties. He'll get shots in rhythm and a chance to spot up and play to some of his strengths. Won't be surprised to see clarkson as the driver with russ as the shooter much of the season

Welp

Jamal Crawford's name has appeared in trade rumors throughout the offseason, but Doc Rivers said he intends to keep him.

"I've heard all the rumors about Jamal going other places," Rivers said. "Jamal's a Clipper and I would be very surprised if he's not a Clipper by the season's end."

Fred Roggin of The Beast 980 asked him again: "You're planning on keeping him right now?"

"Yeah," Rivers responded. "Yeah. Absolutely."

Jamal Crawford has been a secret team killer for a while now; not only is he an unrepentant chucker but worst of all his teammates fail to see the error in his ways, often encouraging him to "dance" his way into another heavily contested off balance jumper.

This would be not so terrible on a bad team but truly unacceptable when two of the best offensive players on the planet are standing and watching you do this in the critical moments of a playoff game. :smh:

Again, why would Doc come in here and think NT supports Crawford

I do, actually.

He can still be effective as an offensive player. He's a fantastic spot up shooter (s/o awwsome) and when he can just make a play off the catch he's sooooo much better than when he goes into his and 1 thing which ends up in a contested long 2. What he's "good" at is indeed almost a catch 22. He's still very good at finishing plays, but he comes off the bench which means he's in lineups where he ends up having to hijack the offense and he isn't nearly a good enough offensive player (especially at this stage) to create quality for himself or others. In truth, on a championship team he's best suited as a spot up guy or a one to two dribble guy if he's going to be a plus. But that's not going to happen.

His defense overrides all of his offensive ineptness however and ultimately, (and what I've observed and learned) having a player with Jamal's make up makes it reaaalllyy hard to win big because what he brings to the table just isn't conducive to winning a championship and it's not like you're not going to play Jamal Crawford if he's on your roster so it's tough.

wowww i thought db passed away. lowkey looks younger than he did reffing
