as frustrated as many of us are with him, my thing about David Lee is that we got what we expected from him, points and boards. correct me if im out of line, but no one anticipated him being a defensive stopper. it's not his fault that the FO threw that sort of money at him. at that time, absolutely no elite or close to elite level talent would sign with us; and if you look back in recent off seasons, have we really missed out on signing any big name FA because of being strapped for cap space due to DLee's contract? granted the precipitous decline of his midrange game the past two seasons was baffling, DLee is appreciated.

Id argue Lee sparked Curry in Game 3 or whatever.

And both were pro's when benched/left off playoff rosters. All that w/ bad contracts.
I suppose he sparked Curry in game 3......however game 3 was a loss.

Agreed with the rest of your post.

Not sure what to think about the deal.

Seems like essentially we traded for bench warmers, but saved $5-6mill. Wonder if there was anything more we could have gotten.

However, in Meyers we trust.

Not to intrude, but that is exactly how I felt about Amare Stoudrmire in New York. Especially the defense part. Repped.

This move saves the Warriors from paying a ******** in luxuary tax. To the average fan that doesnt mean anything but its important.

Wallace is "washed" though. Hope they stretch provision him (but they need to replace him with a vet minimum contract).

Or so Ive read.

Still cant believe the Nets traded a pkck that ended up being Dame Lillard for Wallace. Ouch.

New era fitted and snapback championship patch hats are on Hat Club site!!!

We need to remember that when you're taxed, the salary basically doubles. The $5+ they save is actually $10-$11. Still wish they could've signed or acquired a more athletic PF.

Still with the David Lee slander

. I'll be waiting in the rafters for the "I miss David Lee" posts

You will be waiting for a long time. Well....you will be waiting forever to get one of those posts from any intelligent basketball fan. Dude is buns. Good riddance.

Gonna miss seeing his girl at games though.

hindsight is always 20/20 my G.

if crystal balls existed, we'd have picked Kobe.
Or Kevin Garnett.

Or Rasheed Wallace.

Or Steve Nash.

Or Tracy McGrady.

Or Andrei Kirileno.

Or Amare Stoudamire.

Or Carlos Boozer.

Or David West.

Or Al Jefferson.

Or Andrew Bynum.

Or Danny Granger.

Or Rajon Rondo.

Or Paul Milsap.

Or Marc Gasol.

Or DeAndre Jordan.

But even after all that said......all the years of misery and terrible draft picks made this season so much sweeter!

What was your favorite David Lee moment? dland24 dland24 , I want to hear from you.

I'm sure Dland will have one of the following answers:

A. DLee getting bit by Chandler Wilson, getting a staph infection on his elbow, and then missing most of that season
B. DLee getting injured missing most of that Spurs series
C. DLee getting benched for a majority of this season
D. DLee being traded to Boston

in fact, I think he'll be like the Luniz digital underground and pick, "all of the above."

Yes indeed!!

Sabina Gadecki (pictured above) I believe her and DLee broke it off a while ago.

I think she with E from Entourage now

She is stupid fine tho, a legit 10

Going from dating a dude who is 6'9 to a guy who is 5'7 LOL

It's crazy how in the movie, i thought, no way this fool in real life pulling that. Guess i'm the idiot. Between Klay and David Lee, man they got a nice lineup of woman. If Barnes is really smashing Ros, then add him to the list too!

Is it really that surprising? A rich athlete dating a nice girl? The only players that aren't are those that marry their high school girlfriends.
