If you think I am wrong then just look at the resale market. Every Yeezy is selling in the 1,000s, where as almost every Jordan is in the 100's; of course there are some outliers—for example, Fragments.
That being said, this is certainly all based on fads. In two or years Yeezys may no longer be relevant, and Jordan's may be dominant again. I guess, time will tell.

Yeah he's hype now but to say he surpassed Jordan is like saying you're stronger than the guy benching 315 because you can do more standing calf raises... it's just not the same thing. He's definitely has HIS market but I honestly don't think Kanye can move holiday XI numbers. Nothing but respect to Kanye, dude is the male Oprah... his name makes **** move.

That still isn't comparable. Perfect example: My girl never scene or heard of the blue Just Don 2's, but she knows what a Yeezy is. It just has more mass appeal, which in turn, results in more hype.

In regards to hype—which is what I was getting at—he is certainly surpasses the Jumpman. As for the XIs, if Yeezys were to release around Christmas time and they were GR, they would blow the XI numbers away.

you are basing your whole argument on ONE shoe. adidas has no other shoe that resells like the Yeezy. Pusha Ts go for 500-600.

Drop his name from the shoe, rename it as the Air Tantrum or some **** and drop em on every Adidas Yeezy release. But that would make that broad rant at his next show and he'd say Nike is scared or something, it's probably best that they just ignore him.

Adidas NEEDS Kanye for this market. They've got a couple shoes in the resale market where Nike has a countless amount. If Kanye went to Keds dudes would be paying resale for that. Adidas can't drop anything without an artist attached to it and rake in the money that Nike can just on the strength of the brand.

4 limited shoes a year in adult sizes every couple months vs mulitple GR's in full family runs every month...sounds legit. Oh my bad, thought you were talking about dollars, not hype.

Its a lot easier to create hype when you release a shoe every quarter instead of a shoe every week. Nike sells out of 100 times more holiday XIs then Adidas does on a yeezy drop. Yeezys are great and sell, fantastic. How did they 950s and clothing work out for the resellers?
Jb's releases are sitting because the markets down and the releases since the bords have been poop and not OG colorways. I'm a kanye stan, but he got a long way to be able to dump 100000s of his releases weekly like JB does.
Just so I'm not completely off topic - No emails here and I don't understand why it takes so long. It's automated they should pump them out almost immediately after the raffles end.

jordan brand accounted for $2.25 billion in U.S. retail basketball sales in 2013, yea that was in 2013 but have you seen nikes stock trend recently its on the up and up... Yeezy has a LONG way to go before he can even scratch those numbers.

Nike isn't hyping anything. It's people being thirsty that's creating the hype.
Shoes came out a bit ago but people can't wait 24 hrs to find out they took another L. That's his/her fault.
