Official images of the shoe were uploaded onto NDC servers, which would hint at a NDC release. But that's obviously nowhere near confirmed.

i think these might also release on OVO webstore at a random time. It would make sense, considering all other OVO apparel is available through there.

Upgrades could just mean better site mechanics and glitch/bug fixes. Doesn't have to be shiny new features.

Would be wild if they dropped these when they opened up again. Probably won't happen though. Especially if J23app is accurate at all.
