How do People do This With their Laces?

Just bought a pair of the Jordan Instigators as my new work shoes and i love the triangle aglets but those things make so much noise when they click together since they're metal and it happens way too often. Before i bought them though i looked them up on google and saw people are normally wearing them like this;

But when i got the shoes, they came with some REALLY long laces like this;

So how do people do the dangling from the side thing with laces this long? There has to be some technique because if i do it like the photos the aglet just drags far behind me on the ground and that obviously isn't any good. Is it possible?

just put the lace tips wherever u want them to hang n then loosen the rest of the lace.......................................

It's a serious thread and that isn't working. The aglets are mad heavy so they don't just stay up in the position i put them and with that much slack from loosening the laces, the shoes would just look sloppy and fall off. 

Plus at work i'll be standing for 4 to 12 hours at a time and adjusting them every 5 minutes isn't really an option. 

NVM, i found out what to do. Jut tied a ton of knots in there and put the slack under the tongue.
