 R&B is dying because it's just nothing but sex. Very little variety as far as subject matter goes in that genre.

BET Awards was on point this year. I don't see how anybody could say they didn't like it.

I wish Diddy would have brought out more of the Bad Boy roster. I wanted to see The Lox, Black Rob & Craig Mack.

I really wish they would have did more Janet Jackson songs during her tribute. Hell, I wish her *** would have performed.

Gospel portion of the show should have been longer. How you going to do just one gospel song? Should have left it out.

Hated that J Cole didn't get an award. Dude has the only platinum hip hop award from 2014 and he did all of the work by himself.

Wish Kendrick Lamar would have performed The Blacker The Berry. That's a real powerful song that would have had everybody in the building full of energy.

Other than that, I felt the show was on point.

I thought the awards were very tame and boring this year. No real Lulz. Other than Kendrick, none of the hottest rappers performed.

Would've loved to see Future, Drake or Cole with a set. I'm sure the Hip Hop awards in Atl will provide lulz X ratchetness X Atl music.

One of the better shows I've seen in a few years. Nothing over the top and ignorant. Could have done without some stuff but it was solid.

Was hoping 112 would have done Only You, thought Black Rob would do Whoa for sure. Bad Boy was cool visually but I was mad disappointed with their song selection

Janelle Monae is so damn sexy. She's takes a dump all over so many other chicks from the show. That "Yoga" song seems like a 180 from her normal records, but still sounded good and she put on a good performance. The song still sounds like it could be easily been written for Rihanna, Beyonce, or some of the washed r&b chicks who need a comeback hit.

That was also my first time seeing Jidenna(?). I was wondering who did Classic Man, I dig that song.

I forgot to mention this part. Dear Keyshia Cole, how the hell you going to announce that you have an album coming out, but not give us a title or date? Nobody cares about you going independent. She can't do numbers on a major label so what makes her think that she will do numbers independently? She said that ish like it was going to bring her career back.

Bobby Valentino wrong for wearing that white power rangers outfit to the awards show. It's crazy broke people dress better than most of these celebs. They need to get rid of these stylists that have them looking stupid as hell.

That Big Sean video they premiered at the after party was on point. Glad he paid tribute to the Martin show. I still watch that show even though I've seen every episode multiple times. Need to see more artists, mainly rap artists, doing creative stuff like that.

That Rihanna BBHMM video looks like it's going to be on point.

Don't know if this was posted. Rich Homie Quan bailed on the BET Awards after they told him his BET Awards performance was demoted to pre show performance.

They sit up here and host bet and bet hiphop awards
