He kinda leaned into it for sure....but that's on Max IMO. You are placing the ball wherever he wanted for 8.2 innings. Why try and go in and risk making a mistake?
I know Tabata leaned into it, but it was a bad pitch that was not thrown to his target. When you have a perfect game on the line, why even chance it?

But it happens ALL the time.
I hate that players don't even make an attempt to get out of the way. Many times they have their armor on and don't feel a thing
