I like the historical stuff and the universities.  It's a beautiful city.  But it's also very small, clean, and parochial.  It's not an electric place in any way.

What is electric to you? Not being a jerk, actually wondering

As a city you mean, or how do I define that?

I think there are cultures in different cities that are exciting or different or challenging.  Boston culture is very staid.

Obviously NYC is one example but I love Phillly as well.  Pitt is cool.  L.A. isn't my favorite but definitely has something going on.  Was just in San Diego which was way more than I expected.

Nah just wondering what sort of city you like.

I still may like SF above all. Haven't done a proper NYC trip get so I don't judge. I did enjoy Boston though, that NE region is just different than anything else. Especially going up through Maine

Though all in all I may like the area of Sedona and the south west best. Gorgeous and the Canyon > all

New England is amazing.  One of the best parts of the U.S.  And I'm with you on the history aspect, I love the Kennedy culture and the food and all that.  I just don't love Boston.

I'm a New Yorker so I'm arrogant about cities, it is what it is.

But if you're talking about natural beauty the Pacific Northwest is unbeatable.  I've been to 50+ states but Mountain/Forest > Desert any day.

Miami/Fort Lauderdale is probably my favorite city.

Beautiful weather, beautiful people not as conservative as Texas but not super liberal, not really expensive either.

Lauderdale/north Miami > Miami

I will have to peep

If I had to move to a city in the US then it would be San Diego

I dated a chick from Hawaii for a bit which was an amazing place but that's not 48 states US so I don't count it

Just stay in aventura.. Or lauderdale beach

Can't even remember the last time I've been to south beach.. I'll go to coral gables every once and while when I'm over there.. But I usually stay north Miami/lauderdale

And if you're flying, fly to lauderdale airport and NOT Miami airport.. Trust me

good looks, could be my next getaway

Philly is legit. Good cheesesteaks, bars, and decent downtown area. Those people know how to tailgate too. Couple years ago I went down to Wells Fargo with some friends who are Penn State Alumns and saw their Ice Hockey team play. Their opponents name escapes me as I was totally wasted but the tailgate was awesome. Some dude who owned some bar had a legit TV setup with Directv so we could watch a couple NHL games and there was some issue with the signal, he called Directv, they sent some dude out and dude was taking swigs of Vodka as he was fixing the dish. LMAO

We started walking into the stadium, I had to legit walk my boy to the entrance and prop him up and another friend of a friend faceplanted in the mud where the trees were in the parking lot we were in. lol
Great times, and the private suites in the Wells Fargo arena were gorgeous too. All around a fun time.

Want to go back for a NFL game.

Also read that Art Jones will prob be on IR. Great. Another waste of money signing by Grigs. :frown:

Los Olas and Seminole were my favorite parts to go out.

People loved Tootsies but I never got the appeal but I never have been big strip club guy. Although I did like a Cheetah I've been to and the old Magic City was interesting.
