How did Roger go outside of the CBA with Hardy? His rulings don't take the courts decisions into account....do they?

Skimming through the ruling summary now. Judge outed Goodell as a liar once again.

Can't check the page on this, look up the part about the interview notes/Wells Report.

That's THREE different federal judges in a year saying Roger was full of ****.

Also, the FULL transcripts from all court proceedings will be made available after today.  Reminder: the NFL wanted everything sealed. Including the appeal hearing transcripts from a couple months back w/ Brady/Goodell which is already out. Transparency FTW.

Wish I could do screenshots right now, some of the stuff in here is fire. Dude put NFL's legal counsel and Ted Wells on blast.

My ADA friend who is also a closet Pats fan said this:
"In all seriousness I think Brady liked his footballs deflated and probably did take steps to cheat but I just read the entire decision and its un****ingbelievable.  If someone from our office did what Goodell did, we would probably be fired and would at a minimum be sanctioned by the NYS Ethics board and probably be suspended from practicing law for 6+ months"
Edit: More:

Not so much the "notice of penalties" part but the evidence disclosure and witness participation part.  Wells report was "independent" except that a top nfl exec, acting as an "independent" attorney, made comments and changes to it before it was officially filed with the league.  Brady's people wanted him called as a witness and Goodell, sitting as appeals arbitrator, said no.

Brady's people also asked for notes, statements, etc. that were used to complete the report.  Godell, again sitting as appeals arbitrator, said you can't have them even though NFL counsel had them at their disposal during this entire process.

Absolute **** show ... this is kindergarten **** that Goodell was pulling.

As it should :pimp:

Everybody can go back to hating Goodell now

Goodell tried to impose new rules that weren't place at the time of the incident with Hardy.
The standard punishment from the CBA was 2 games, Goodel tried to suspend Greg Hardy 10 games.

Another example of Goodell changing rules on a whim and based on public opinion instead collective bargained terms.

Roger is the only commish out of the major American sports that isn't a lawyer.

Guess it shows?

I'd pay a hacker to find out where dude lives and end him. Very easy and takes little money. I can even do it. Dudes on the internet really think they are safe and say anything.

Reading Torrey's responses to that were incredible. Major props to him from me, I would not be so calm with a bag like that

No hacker needed... Most people can be found in seconds these days... I can tell you where that guy works, but I wont.
