Just tried listening to grantland's nfc east preview to see what barnwell and mays had to say..

my main problems:

These dudes actually debate if Washington could have the best tackle situation in the league.. Not division (which is crazy enough on its own).. These dudes debate on the league

Then they say eagles' oline can't be better than last year.. Last year when only Jason peters didn't miss time and we took guys off the street and had them starting due to all of the injuries.. And for some reason they still think herremans is a good player without realizing the amount of time he missed the last couple seasons

Bill Barnwell makes a ton of comments that leads me to believe he doesn't actually watch football.

And unless he's talking about your team or a team you follow closely you don't actually know how full of **** he is.

^ barnwell blocked me on Twitter because I asked him if he was going to correct the article he wrote about the Eagles signing Demarco and Mathews.. He basically doubled the cap hit for both guys, problem with that is the whole article was about how much the Eagles were spending

Then in the podcast preview he makes a big deal over the money we gave demeco..Which was basically taking the money he would have made this year and guaranteeing it over the next two seasons and keeping a good lockerroom guy around (plus the fact we have Kendricks and kiko)

i had to listen to it multiple times when they said best tackle situation, in the league... When within the division you got:

Tyron smith and Doug free

Or

Jason peters and lane Johnson

It's amazing how many times I hear a national guy discuss a team I know and then realize they don't know what they are saying. Local reporters >

Hate this with a passion. Dudes talk with so much authority about teams and players they've never watched.

This happens in the NBA too. Heard some dude on ESPN say John Wall and Kyrie Irving are the same type of score first PG's....and they need to learn how to pass.

Like wall didn't average 10 assist a game last year lol.

This happens to my Ravens too sometimes man. Smh

Very true

What's crazy is his articles will be long as hell too, but there's a lot of false info in them.

I thought I was the only one who thought this guy was full of ****

I'm assuming they had Williams and Scherff at the tackle spots for the ********. If that's the case, they're wrong. Scherff has been playing G, and Morgan Moses has been playing RT. While there is a lot of potential there on the o-line for the ******** and with having Bill Callahan as the coach, there are more unknowns, IMO.

*edit*

Just looked at ESPN.com and saw a headline that there were people PROTESTING the signing of Mike Vick in Pittsburgh. Just out of curiosity, are there any protests about Ben Roethlisberger being on the roster? Seeing how he's been the QB for what, 10 years...and had a couple of incidents, you'd think that there would be more vitriol concerning him rather than Vick.

Nope. Because Pittsburgh is full of hypocrites.

And to keep it real, Mike Vick being black doesn't help.

Why even post that?

The argument is that Ben wasn't convicted, which is stupid. They value the lives of dogs and other animals more than people

There was a good scathing article in the post gazette pointing out the hypocrisy of some fans and how Vick has turned his life around. Also talks about people being more sympathetic to animals than humans, cites a study done on it

And Ben did have people against him but that went away as he kept having good years

Didn't this happen in Philly as well? As I said a few days ago, it's faux outrage. People aren't going to stop cheering for the team or going to games because of the backup QB. It's ridiculous

Yea, but it wasn't this bad. You would think they were trying to make him the face of the franchise the way people are protesting and "not" being racist.

The FB page is the worst. The hypocrisy is maddening.

Only seeing this from white fans to keep it a buck...

Oh you noticed it too. And then when people call them out on it they play the victim as they do so well. Dude I know said he wore an old Vick jersey to work

Might have to be my fit for the fall

As a lifelong Ravens fan, and sworn enemy of anything Steelers related...I want Vick to shine is someway badly.
