I mean, what else are they gonna do? You let Cousins walk, there are no other options out there. You draft a guy, it's a gamble, and if it pays off, by year 3-4, you're reaping the rewards. Do teams really have that luxury of time on their hands.
Kirk can play in this league. He proved it last year. It was his 1st year as a starter and he had a hell of a season. IF he stays healthy next season, he and the Skins will beat some teams w/ winning records.
He's the least of my worries going forward.

If you read the report Calvin said he was retiring before this season even started.

Nah I agree with you, the 'craziness' part of my post was more directed at the fact that he hasn't beaten a team with a winning record. The $ isn't that big of an issue contract wise.

Anyone know if BB told his players not to go to the Pro Bowl? It's weird that even their not so famous or rich players didn't go. Butler and Slater declining.
It's crazy as hell that Calvin told teammates and family that he was retiring before the season started and they were able to keep it quiet. That's real dope. Good for him.
