It might be time to just end the Detroit franchise as a whole. Move them somewhere else and start fresh. I grew up with them in the Barry era and while he was a blast to watch, it was basically the same thing we saw with Calvin.
It gets old knowing your team is going to **** up pretty much every year. All those years of fandom out of loyalty to my Michigan roots and for what? That franchise hasn't given the fans anything in return for as long as I've been alive. They continually make awful decisions year after year after year...and they NEVER seem to learn and grow from their questionable choices. They're literally a joke of a franchise, and have been for far too long. And the worst part of it all is that it appears that isn't going to change any time soon.
I understand that Calvin was never going to be the guy to play into his late 30s. But if he was part of a winning culture, I gotta believe he sticks around a little longer. Stating the obvious here, but Barry 2.0. Damn shame.

Garbage *** Lions franchise. Forced 2 all time greats into retirement. Guarantee you if Megatron was with a respectable team he wouldn't think about retiring.
