As prospects goes idk if Trent was even on Gurley level coming outta college. His knee injury is the only reason he didn't go top 2.

Plus like dude said above, he was carving up teams while they knew the Rams were running and had no threat in the passing game

Former Jet Bart Scott says he'd have a Super Bowl ring if Alex Smith was his QB

The KC Star's Terez Paylor spoke with former Jets LB Bart Scott at the Super Bowl and Scott, who now works for CBS, says if his Jets teams under Rex Ryan had Alex at quarterback, they would probably have a ring.

"I'll tell you what - if I would have had Alex Smith, I would have won two Super Bowls, possibly three," Scott said, per the Star. "I mean, I went to the AFC Championship (Game) with Mark Sanchez (twice). I'm just being honest."

The Jets went to the AFC Championship game in 2010 and 2011 and lost both games, one to the Colts and another to the Steelers. The Saints went on to beat the Colts in 2010 while the Packers beat the Steelers in 2011. It's easy to say that they would have won but we have no idea how it would've turned out. It's interesting though to see a player view Alex as someone who would have helped them to the Super Bowl, not just someone who would screw it up.

:wow: :wow:

Gurley's the only consistent offensive weapon the Rams have know how to use properly.

Fixed.

I'm just saying, look at the rookie seasons Doug Martin and Alfred Morris had. What if Gurley only has 3 good seasons or less? Wouldn't be a surprise considering the current state of the RB position.

Then think of the longevity of drafting a star at almost any other position.

Also Trent was called by everyone the next prospect since AP. and there is absolutely no way a 2015 GM was taking an RB #2 knee injury or not.

Not saying they would've, but he was the best prospect on many teams draft boards pre injury and the fact he was taking that high coming off a torn acl tells you something

I'm not condoning drafting a RB that high if I'm a GM unless he possess that type of talent. Gurley at UGA was special. And it showed last season..now we'll see how his body holds up because he had a lot of carries after they let him loose

I'm all for Demarco back in Dallas but why the hell would the Iggles ever even entertain that?

Mark Sanchez threw for 26 TDs in 2011.

Alex Smith has never thrown more than 23 TDs in a single season.

Both them ******* suck.
