I mean what can you fix with RG3?

He's an injury waiting to happen.

Not to mention from all we know he doesn't have it mentally either.

Sounds like 2 things a coaching staff can't control.

That's the thing...the offense has to be catered to his skill set. Running a variation of an offense like the Seahawks or 49ers would benefit him greatly.

He complained about how the Shanahan's were using him, but they got the best results. RG3, as strictly a pocket passer, leaves a lot to be desired.

If cut, someone will surely take a flyer on him. He'll probably sit for the majority of the season, learn whatever offense he's in, and give it a go in '16.

I still think, he could potentially be a low risk/high reward player. However, a lot has to go right for him to get to that point in his career.

@AdamSchefter: U.S. District Court Judge Berman will issue Deflategate ruling this week, as early as Tuesday, no later than Friday.

that ruling will just be appealed through, right? If ruled for TB, I'd assume he can play until that is resolved?

We will cut him...he will get picked up by the Eagles. People will say that is the pick up of the year. Chip Kelly will turn him into a stud some how and look like a genius.

I side with snyder. You put your chips in on RG3 when you traded the next 3 years for the guy. A coach is replaceable. Get some one who will work with him. We aren't going anywhere with cousins at the helm any way. RG3 has potential to be really good. Kirk has potential to be....trent green?

either way i am almost done with football. I can no longer be a fan its just no longer "fun" to be the butt of a joke for this long.

Yes, strong chance of that for first question. Correct, for second question.

Brady/NFLPA could also have Judge Berman's ruling not go in their favor and he could still wind up playing in the season opener.

Final push by both sides yields no settlement in #deflategate case. Berman to rule in next day or two.

Both John Mara and Jay Feeley took part in negotiations overseen by Berman. But they went nowhere.

Berman: "We did not reach a settlement. The parties tried quite hard I think."

Berman: "In some case (a settlement) doesn't happen. This is one of those cases."

Berman said he'll rule in the next day or two. "Certainly before Friday."
Roger Goodell's power as Commissioner will either decrease or increase in the next two days...

If it means we get rid of Barkley and tebow, I'm all for it..

Really wish we had taken hundley in the draft

Aside from players who have committed actual crimes, I have never seen anything like the way the public turned on RG3.

The hate was pretty strong for Westbrook up until recently.. Had certain folks suggesting a rondo for Westbrook trade couple years ago :nerd:

Not exactly on this current level, but it really don't make that much sense when factoring in Scotty brooks being the coach and how hard dude played every night

Right, but very slim chance of that taking place. The "irreparable harm" factor hurts the NFL here (which is one of 4 things they have to prove in order to confirm a stay).

I don't remember a league ever winning that argument vs. one of their players.

 that's the last thing the Eagles need.

Stick it out with Bradford and hope he stays healthy, that's ya best bet.

Tebow and Barkley are fighting for the 3rd QB spot.. Hundley was drafted in the 5th, but has shown potential (which is what you want out of a 3rd QB)

I'm not saying pick up dude to replace Bradford... But given chip took on Sanchez after butt fumble and tebow after being tebow, rg3 wouldn't be the end of the world

^ just pointing on the circumstances we got him under.. Hell even Bradford came to us on shaky ground

i don't think you realize how bad RG3 is dude

Tebow and Barkley haven't set the bar that high.. Unless I missed something, which is possible since I'm obviously not there in practice.. But the games, both haven't looked good

to be honest I wouldn't be shocked if Barkley and Tebow both get cut and Chip brings in someone like Zac Dysert as the #3

Bills QBs went 30-33, 386 and 3 TD vs the Steelers! With that paper curtain they won't even make the offs. No pass rush.

Things are good for the Eagles right now, adding RG3 doesn't help this situation at all

Let Dipset deal with the problems they created

in my dream world we could offer the packers miles and/or kkkoooper along with a conditional late round pick for hundley

And cut both tebow and Barkley

RG3 is from Texas. Cowboys have no future beyond a aging Romo. Skins and Boys are rivals. Jerry likes to take on projects and turn around careers. 2012 in Dallas still haunts him.

Perfect fit.

**** is crazy, and the messed up part about it, race is involved, but neither side likes him

RG3 is fixable.

He's sensitive.

He needs to be in a smaller market with strong support.
even if he gets cut, I am not sure a team would even bring him in for 2015
You picked up Tebow, RG3 will get picked up, just not on his current contract.

He's not out of the league bad.

You don't want a guy like RG3 on your roster as a "3RD string" QB at this point.

Sanchez was a good pick up even though he had his ups/downs and Tebow took a year off to let his circus die down before Chip gave him a chance.

When RG3 has a reality check and accepts his fate as a backup QB then you look into it, but right now, would be a terrible move for you guys.

Stop it 5, we'll use a 1st round pick on a QB before we take on RG3.

Jerry/Stephen/JG aren't signing up for this project

Now since you said that, I hope you guys get stuck with him for the remainder of the year. I also hope he gets hurt so you guys are forced to pay him that 16M next season too

Nah, you can't put RG3 on a team with an established QB.

You gotta think about dudes mental state.

The moment he said something about deserving to start the team would at him up again.

Only good options I have are Cleveland, Cincinnati, Houston, Buffalo or Chicago.
