Crazy stat on Ben Roethlisberger :x

Because Roethlisberger looks like a big oaf, few have noticed that he’s one of the most remarkable athletes of his era. We’ve never seen a physical specimen quite like the 240-pounder. It’s not just that Roethlisberger can brush off would-be sackers; it’s that he does so without compromising his arm strength or accuracy, which are both tremendous. His brilliance is overlooked because it doesn’t appear smooth and polished. But that’s the inherent nature of it. Last season, according to ESPN’s Week 11 Monday Night Football broadcast, Roethlisberger’s quarterback rating after being contacted was 158, with an 80 percent completion rate. The league average for completion percentage in this category is 43.8. Let that sink in.

Yeah sometimes him being completely clean in the pocket is when I get most nervous

Dude looks confused because he is almost always avoiding someone or getting hit. Rushing four and that's it should be how defenses play him

Is the Seattle-RG3 based on that Peter King article?  Because if so it's 100% speculation.

Not that I would be against it, I think it's a buy-low and he could be a good backup in a stable situation.

Yo, I genuinely believe he loves it when the play breaks down so he can do all that running around and shaking guys off him. That's why when the play breaks down I'm not even nervous anymore. In my head I'm like "wait for it..."

^ rg3 is going to get cut.. they or anyone else cant risk him getting injured then his contract becomes guaranteed for next season for 16 mill

What's RGIII's contract look like in terms of years left?

$21,119,098 100% guaranteed

It's a great sight for people interested in how NFL contracts work.

Breaks down base vs guarantee and bonus etc.

Man I read that all wrong

Next year is his team option then he's unrestricted in 17'

 Appreciate it though.

I guess that's not so bad, if there were any truth to Seattle. Give him a few years to sit and regroup and get a chance to compete for a starting spot in two years. Might be best case scenario, actually.

bob should join the eagles
if I'm him, I'm getting on the phone with briles and getting him to call chip ASAP

i say this as an eagles fan.. if I am him I'm looking at the situation like this:

1) the QB situation.. the starter has had injuries and isn't a lock long term (Bradford).. the backup is the backup and wont be the long term solution if something happens to the starter (sanchez).. the rest don't really matter and wouldn't be their if there were other options(tebow/barkley)

2) the system and players in place

or you look at teams with older guys who might be stepping down in the foreseeable future (peyton.. maybe brees.. palmer/cards, maybe.. brady according to his emails wants to play another 7 years)

Tebow is going to be cut, I think the Eagles 3rd string QB might not be on the roster right now, keep an eye on Cody Fajardo
pretty much.. both tebow and barkley could be gone

if not for Bradford's injuries, wouldn't have surprised me if we went with 2 QBs.. obviously cant under present circumstances
