By the way...Judge Berman's ruling argument is out. Don't have the time to read 40 pages right now, but NFLPA/Brady won on no notice and discovery issues.

Plenty of unbiased and no agenda-driven sports law attorneys said that would be the nail in the coffin for Goodell & the league, among all the things the judge could choose from.

Watch and see how this gets spun as a "technicality" from the pundits...
i wonder when the NFL will apologize for lying about the number of deflated balls

I have no clue how anyone who gets suspended by the league isn't contemplating carrying their matters to court..

how many matters have gotten overturned at this point?

obviously brady.. and also got jonathan vilma.. anyone else?

I believe the reason those punishments got overturned in court because those punishments were execessive and outside of the CBA.

The league HAS to change their disciplinary process now right? One would think that they can't keep taking all these L's in court ,it's not a good look

Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo do the Pats get their fine back? If I was Kraft I'd be making Goodell's hot line bling

Goodell needs to apologize to kraft now...it's only right, and take back the punishment.

Would be the icing on the cake.

Since when? People have been complaining about us being the big bad evil empire for years man . We don't have JJ Watt on the squad to be our morality guide. "America's team" my ***

In my experience it's more or so the media always putting the Pats up on a pedestal or over praising that team for whatever reason. Always invoking NE's name in some superior way.

I'm not talking about the fans opinion.

Not surprised that Brady won the case. When the next CBA negotiations come up, the NFLPA should demand to have a arbitrator for the appeal process instead of the commissioner.

next CBA negotiations aint going be pretty..

pretty much every player is going to challenge everything that is even remotely questionable that happens between now and then.. very rich and powerful men don't take well to that sort of stuff

Yep. I expect a strike.

The NFLPA should keep it the way it is now, with how stupid Roger is the punishments get thrown out in court anyways

That's true.

Exactly what I was thinking. Owners not gonna have this.

I sort of agree but that was during the time TB was considered the leagues golden boy. Not so much now

That very same media was out there on the case like a bunch of rabid dogs during those first few leaks trying to influence public opinion with misinformation on top of the months they spent covering this and bringing in talking heads to bash the team . I'd like to think and hope that the days of the media being on the teams tip are over after this debacle. Being under the radar >>
