AP the only real lock at that position right now IMO

Shady Marshawn and Forte are on the outside looking in imo

Maybe add Jamal Charles to that list

Marshawn has a ring and playoff success which leaves Shady and Forte way behind

AP is a generational talent a la Barry Sanders so he is an easy lock

AP's stats are stupid.

104 games, 11905 yards from scrimmage, 98 yards rushing per game, 91 touchdowns.

4 playoff games, 367 yards, 92 yards rushing per game, 5 touchdowns.

He damn near averages 100 yards and a tub a game. :x

I really don't think wins and playoff sucess matter wen it comes to RBs ..that's reserved for QBs imo

I disagree, that run Marshawn had against the Saints will be the play he is remembered for and will only enhance votes his way IMO

I have a gut feeling that AP is gonna go nuts this year. Like 1400 yards/10 TDs is his floor.

2009 Favre is the only above average QB he's had his entire career and now he has Teddy Throwsevelt.

Putting up those godly numbers with Tarvaris Jackson, Kelly Holcomb, Brooks Bollinger, Gus Frerotte, Joe Webb, Christian Ponder, Donovan McNabb, and Matt Cassel... :x

I wish Marshawn would make it but the opinion of the national media is wayyyy off from the fans on this one. Unfortunately. He's definitely one of the greatest and most iconic Seahawks of all time.

I'm gonna keep it real: not yet.

Love Beast Mode as a player but he hasn't done enough to warrant it as of today.

Another 2000-4000 yards and 25 more TDs before he retires and yeah, easily.

He's only at like 8500 yards and 71 TDs.

Agree

He is on the way though

Vikings are my sleeper team but I see AP as more of a piece this year rather than the whole team, not the same old AP but a very good back with an actual supporting cast so I can see those numbers

I see Minnesota's offense as Seattle-lite this year. Low risk, clock/ball control, and grinding. They'll have the weapons to do damage in the passing game, but with AP and an accurate Teddy... it might behoove them to plod and grind. Everyone is talking about their offense, but to me, Minny's defense is the unit that I think is being overlooked. Very solid group. If Teddy puts up sophomore year Russ numbers and they use AP the same way Seattle uses Beast Mode... :x

someone in my draft just pointed this out:

Reggie Wayne requested his release from Pats
According to CBS Boston's Scott Zolak, free agent Reggie Wayne requested his release from the Patriots because he found the "work environment too tough," and "not fun" in Foxboro.

LMAOOOOO

ain't no way in hell he say it was too tough

ain't no way in hell he say it was too tough

L.

He's probably saying that because he's being forced to pay attention to every detail on the field while he felt he can just come in here and only be a part of certain plays *ye shrug*
