Russ' baseball background is so apparent to his style of play IMO

Both these throws look desperate as hell

Rodgers' tosses look fluid

Those throws don't look desperate.

The closest one to being considered desperate was one was the Panthers but it was on the sideline, the chances of a turnover are lower.

He was already on his way down against Arizona, he hit the barrel roll for an eight yard gain

Against Carolina, he was about to get suffocated and just flung one out there. Nice grab by whoever caught that

When I think desperate, I think risky throw.

The throw vs the Cardinals wasnt desperate at all, it was 3rd and 3 at midfield...he had a crossing route vs the man coverage, it's either a completion or in the grass.

Bro.

You the first one to make fun of BBQ chicken Paterson and we know all know the backend of that panthers secondary is
sick.gif
Peterson yes, but the Cardinals overall have a very good defense including against the pass.

Again, the Panthers may not have a talented secondary but they have an elite front 7.  Both teams are well above average pass defenses.

Cardinals ranked 29th in passing defense.

Gave up the 4th most yards against the pass.

I could've sworn the panthers were bad against the pass. Every panthers defense highlight I saw was someone running free against that secondary.
Both teams are top 15 passing defenses by DVOA last year.

Carolina was ranked 11th (2014) and 6th (2013) in pass defense
AZ 29th (2014) and 14th (2013)

That's really good for Carolina considering they don't have the best players back there, credit to their front 7, I like Josh Norman

Aaron Rodgers doesn't need anymore rings to solidify his legendary status. He's made names out of scrubs and has had to deal with one of the most tumultuous tasks in the NFL which for some odd reason, tends to go unnoticed:

Replacing a legend.
