This is what Bill O'Brien needs to do with his broken leash: Wrap part of the chain around his heavy hand, whip the remaining links through the air like a lasso and hope like heck to hit something that sticks on solid ground.

Because that's the only way he's getting out of his bleeping self-made hole after the Texans' Week 1 disaster that doubled as public humiliation Sunday before 71,776 confused, frustrated and depressed faithful at sad NRG Stadium.
