What's interesting to me is that Ryan Tannehill didn't suddenly become a great quarterback after getting that contract.

After all the talk this offseason I thought he had already ascended.

Only about 3 dudes were saying this.

Everybody else should know better.

What 3 dudes say that he's a great QB?

Swore I saw people saying he's improved all 3 years, he slots into the market price right where he should be, and he should continue to grow. Which is exactly the case. No one, has said "Great" anywhere.

I didn't get a chance to read through the thread for the earlier games but I have no clue why they decided to run Marshawn out the shotgun on 4th & 1, terrible play call in my opinion. Should've had Russ under center and handed it off to the FB with a fake pitch to Marshawn like they did earlier in the game.

I'm not a fan of running the ball out of the shotgun on 4th & short unless it's QB read/option. Even then I still think you have to lineup under center.

Unless your starting QB is an absolute trash heap... Hes probably getting paid in todays NFL.

Tannehill is at the very least, average with high upside.

The 2 I quoted are clearly two of the lesser minded folks on NT, so explaining that to them can be difficult. They somehow took everything that's been said and equated it to "greatness"

Might explain their beliefs in Russ. *shrugs*

Thirteen games in 13 NFL stadiums yesterday... any reported headset issues? Just wondering...

were the problems miraculously fixed as soon as the other team(s) had to have their headsets taken away too?

LINE JUDGE HAS BROKEN RIBS, COLLAPSED LUNG
Gary Arthur, who broke a collarbone in a sideline collision on a punt during Sunday's Ravens-Broncos game, also suffered broken ribs and a collapsed lung. Arthur remains in the hospital and likely won't be released until Wednesday.

:wow:

Atlanta gonna be be much improved this season. But they're still soft on the lines.
even if they are a better coached team.. I just wonder about the overall talent of the team..

I looked at the roster to kinda confirm before I said anything.. both lines don't look great (asking a lot out of a rookie and I don't know if 4-3 end plays to his strengths), their LBs don't look great and secondary doesn't look great outside of trufant

Bingo.
But this is NT where you have to go to extremes without proof.

Now it's "Nobody said he's great"

All I know is when I said he's average, reached his potential and not going to be a great NFL quarterback...It was you don't watch ****, he out dueled whoever( which was a lie) his defense sucks, his coaching sucks or whatever.

Later this season when he throws for 350 and a few TDs, it going back to hyping Tannehill again with random photos of him and word franchise being used again.

Exactly, you only grasp great, or average and reached peak. That's what your brain can handle.

Like it has been said, multiple times, he hasn't reached his peak, but he's not "Great" either. But he clearly has a chance, the possibility, to move into that 10-12 range of QB's IF he continues to elevate his play, as he has done 3 years straight.

See how that works? Needle doesn't have to be on Great, nor on reached his peak. It's quite possible to be 27, and still improving. You understand that?
