That rule got changed because of the Brady injury, but its not like he proposed it to the league. Brady is plenty tough, dude has never even missed a game outside of his ACL

Ah, so I misread that :lol: my whole point was between the couple rules updated for Brady/NE sake, all the crying Irsay and Polian did and all the shady **** they tried to pull when Polian was on the Competition Committee, going back and forth about who had rules changed to benefit them/because of them seems kinda pointless.
somehow David Carr needs to get involved in this convo
Jay Cutler's free passes would like to be included in the discussion.

"In my attempt to expose Luck's free pass, I will not be discussing RG's mistakes/miscues."

That's my favorite part. :smokin

Replace RG with any QB and my point stands firm.

The Colts TEAM isn't that bad and Luck isn't that great. Many people picked them as SB contenders. Why? All I hear is they have a bad defense, bad o-line and no running game. On top of that the QB is a TO machine. Who picks a TEAM like that to win anything?

Cam has one game like that and he gets compared to Alex Smith again. Two games back to back, folks might be clamoring for Derek Anderson.

People who are going to be wrong?

Also, I grabbed this guy in our NFL redraft... he's starting to shine.

.@Jaguars OLB Telvin Smith's 81 tackles since becoming a full-time starter in Week 12 of 2014 season are the most in the NFL over that span.

Know the name. :pimp:

Does Luck hold onto the ball too long sometimes? Yes but hes constantly going through his reads. Unlike RG3. Does he need to learn to take a sack? Yea thats just the way he is.

But EVERY single time he drops back to pass dudes are on him because his olinemen are constantly getting beat. Holmes and Louis yesterday played like **** especially. 2 of his picks yday he got hit as he threw which threw off the ball. And the last one was dumb but he was trying to make something out of nothing.

What Grigson has done up to this point is mind boggling. I have never ever seen a team just not bother trying to get better at positions that are weak especially when those positions are to protect your FRANCHISE qb. Really wtf is wrong with you to pick a wr in the first round of the draft? And then so far Dorsett has shown hes a crap route runner and all he has is speed. Cmon. What is the thinking here?
Only good thing I can say about Grigs is that he is good with the cap and with these contracts we arent in cap hell. Ala the Saints.

He gets credit for the 2012 draft but you cant **** that up even if you are blind and couldnt see game film. 2013, 2014 draft was garbage, his free agents for the most part are trash, and the 2015 draft so far Anderson and Parry have been good. I still cant believe he went wr in the first round.

What the Colts need to do is clean house. Im tired of this ****.

Ravens v Bengals this week. Balt loses, have to kick them out of the playoff pic, right?

Never count BMore out, even if they lose this week. If any team can dig themselves out of that hole it just might be them.

I doubt they can come back from 0-3 with that defense and aging offense though...

Also only 5 teams have made the playoffs after an 0-3 start and none have since 2000. Its a must win game for them imo.

Even with how strong the AFC looks right now?

CIN
@PIT
CLE
@SF
@ARI
SD

They could be 2-6 heading into the bye and that's being generous.

And then their last four weeks: SEA, KC, PIT, @CIN :x :x

I just have a feeling that teams might need to win 11 games to even sniff a WC spot in the AFC this year. Going to be a tight race. An 0-3 hole would be damn near impossible.

People picked them as a contender because of well they added key players: GORE, JOHNSON. Even though they didn’t add what they needed (DEFENSE and OLINE) Then playing in a cupcake division, and see their track record for the past 4 years. Which pretty much making the playoffs to getting to AFCCG. Now if you cant figure that out I don’t know what to tell you.

We all know that once you get to the playoffs its pretty much a toss up and depends on how hot you are you can actually make some noise. Giants twice, Ravens for example.

And stop with this RG3/QB1 vs Luck. You know damb well you get a free pass in the NFL if you actually got talent and win some games. It’s a win driven league. Don’t matter if you throw a pick 6 times in a game but if you win and actually make the playoffs you get a free pass. Ill use TO for example, he was a lightning rod for controversy, but teams tolerated it because well he help win games and his numbers backed it up, chad Johnson is another great example, once those numbers disappear teams cut their losses.

Just got caught up with the last few pages of the thread...dudes get so damn defensive over the chosen one :rofl:

:x that schedule though. NFC and AFC West on top of the AFCN :smh:

Ravens aren't making it this year. More interested in how the #1 spot in the AFCN plays out. Bengals aren't fooling me yet

I'm just used to Baltimore coming out of nowhere after being left for dead, that team finds ways man :lol:

I feel it tho, things may very well be different. They need to stop playing and get Flacco some real damn weapons.

Giants cut Preston Parker. Feel a little bad for him, but after these past two weeks heads had to roll.
