I get the JJ Watt love

I get the Sherman hate although I don't think it's right.

I don't understand Revis getting blasted and I don't understand why Gronkowski seems to never get criticized.

Tears early in the morning :pimp:

And RG3 got ran off cause dude was made of Adidas endorsements and bengals playoff guides.

He can't and won't stay healthy and doesn't know when to be quiet. You can talk as much as you want when your winning but when the wheels come off that's a different story. Not to mention he's a QB.

And as for race :rolleyes there was a couple of comments in here during RG3s run that he was a "cornball brother"(after that announcer said it) or wasn't "black enough" (whatever that means) but let's continue.

I can't bite my tongue on this. You said he doesn't know when to be quiet and shouldn't talk because he isn't winning? What exactly has Bob said that's wrong?

He got blasted in preseason for allegedly throwing his line under the bus because he said WE need to get better and not I.

Luck is 0-2 with 6 TO that lead the NFL. That's not winning. He said post game Monday night and I quote exactly "WE need to get better at not turning the ball over". Where are all the people with their pitchforks saying he threw his team under the bus?

I don't disagree with you Collector, KK or Double Js. I think some of the double standards and the observations are spot on. My point is every once in a while someone will post a smear job or bias from the media and act surprised by it. I guess I don't understand why peeps are still surprised by these for-profit, media conglomerates having an agenda, having clear bias towards certain segments of the population, essentially lying at times to push a direction they want to go. It's been documented and written about that all of these unfortunate traits of the mass media exist. It's known. Just have to take a lot of the junk thrown at us with a grain of salt

He can be a cornball brother and he can be considered not black enough all day long, I don't give a ****, but if that's the reason why he's being treated like he is then that's a problem.

I'm not saying that's why he got benched btw just an example

Gronk has been the most flagrant offender of the "privilege" and it's not even funny.

I like Gronk and I don't think he even knows it but it's obvious to anyone of color.

Public intoxication

Partying after a SB loss

Partying while injured

Admitting he hasn't read a book since HS

Open about his promiscuousness (if that is even a word)

Telling the NFL to "deflate deez nuts"

Flexing during interviews

Just complete arrogance

Now attach all that to a black man and tell me things wouldn't be different?
Sherman gets blasted cause he's opinionated and well poised and everyone thinks football players should shut up and do jock **** or stick to program ( I don't )

Sherman is

Revis gets blasted cause of the way he handles his contracts. And I don't remember when a play handled it the way he did. And more power to him. He knows he's the best and That's the only reason get gets away with it.
So your basically agreeing with me, right?

I must have missed the Revis blasts, what was it over?

I think the turn will still occur on Gronk, just hasn't happened

I'm not surprised at all.

But that doesn't make it right.

I'm not one of these dudes you can tell "get used to it", "It's been like that forever".

Because it's the norm is the problem, this isn't an anomaly.

Fair enough, it's definitely a good fight. But it literally would take a sweeping change in the industry, it would have to be massive. The 'underground' social media has definitely helped, individuals being their own reporters has been the best way to shed light on actual truth

I don't see any white people that hate Sherman or Revis.
Rg3 is a different story because he sucks.
Luck and Gronk are both good. Odell is loved my white people and the media. You guys are singling out limited examples and trying to make it look like it's every brother in the league

I agree with you 100% and everything you said makes sense. I guess I'm simply in my feels about it. Using NT as a way to vent.

An BTW race isn't meant to be the angle of my Luck vs RG3 thing. Although it may play a part in the narrative. Luck gets more praise then a Joe Flacco at times. Seen him listed above Joe in preseason QB rankings. Just as irritating to me.

@KingKoopa

Yea I agree with you on Sherman & Revis

I think if Gronks production falls off and this partying is still going that's when we'll see the turn.

Remember it's the NFL. If your productive you'll get a pass.

Now that was a civilized discussion, with that said....

**** JJ, the both of you ******* and we're on to Baltimore

I don't mind Sherman but he's a douche at times. Like last year talking smack to Revis for allowing that TD when Revis was screened by the ref.

I don't understand why Gronkowski seems to never get criticized.

When you're a 26 year old TE that has scored 58 touchdowns in 67 career games + scored a touchdown in every single postseason game on the way to a SB ring... there's not a whole lot to criticize. His party bus?

JJ Watt tackles people on stage at country concerts then tweets about it. JJ Watt talks about buying minimalist cabins and then you see pictures. JJ Watt signs a contract and has to showoff the car he bought his mom... even though he had a double-digit million dollar rookie contract.

Gronk is a national hero. JJ Watt is a clownfraud. An incredible football player, but a cornball clownfraud.
