TY deserves like 9 or 10 max.

Hes a good WR dont get me wrong but hes not a game changer like Dez, Megatron, or DT.

TY isn't a gamechanger? Huh? We talking about the one who plays for the Colts, right?

I don't think he is a Dez/CJ type of WR. But in the non big boy wr's, there's not too many better than him. Antonio Brown and........?

I mean if we're going on ability then DT shouldn't have gotten (essentially) the same contract that Dez got, but that's neither here nor there.

Only way I see him not getting big numbers is if he purposely negotiates a lower salary/cap friendly deal like Randall Cobb

Yep the Colts don't have a real choice

Dudes act like this is Madden or something like you can let your 25 year old receiver whose been the 3rd most productive in the NFL walk because you want to pay him like Eric Decker

TY isnt out of line wanting that type of money

Yea we really have no choice in the matter because who are we going to replace him with but I do think he is out of line for asking for that kind of money.

If Dorsett balls tho, TY become expendable?

I'm sure they'd like their Wayne and ___ combo reborn with their franchise QB, but can they afford that, when still not having addressed the Oline or Def properly? :\

We are talking about the same TY. Do I think hes a good WR? Yes but IMO hes not in the same class as the 3 I mentioned. Nor to I believe he deserves 14 mill per year. But the Colts have no choice but to pay him somewhere near that because they wont be able to replace his production.

I mean...  TY is dope, he has great chemistry with Luck, he's been ultra productive.  A legit burner who can catch is a valuable commodity in the NFL.  I think he deserves his cash.

That is what I am saying. I would love another combo of 88 shootings and Wayne but for the love of god I am sick of getting thrown around in the trenches. Address the oline and dline.

Only when it comes to offensive players for some reason. Long, Quinn, Brockers, Ogletree, Donald are all studs.

True.  They've certainly done a good job drafting D-Line.  With that said, they've used a lot of high picks to do so, so you're supposed to find at least Michael Brockers level players.

The Colts should built their defense and running game and rely on Luck to make up the difference

Instead they are probably going to try and win sexy

You also have to factor in the fact that the Salary Cap is likely going to increase as well.

So will salary demands tho, so in the end it evens out.

Part of why TY may think he's worth 14+ as opposed to other guys not named CJ or Dez.

Julio gonna break the bank next year too.

Lots of good o-line in FA next year: Trent Williams, Marshal Yanda, Nate Solder, Andre Smith, Stefen Wisniewski, Joe Barksdale, Ramon Foster, Kelvin Beachum, etc.

Grigson probably gonna sign Anquan Boldin and James Starks.

If he could just add 1-2 of these Olineman, and use all 7 rounds on Defense (including trading down 1-2 times to add extra picks) he could conceivably bolster both corps on top of what he's already got.

But he'll draft either a WR or RB in round 1, and probably a QB in round 4 for some dumb *** reason.

Hasn't Luck already been hit something like 78 times a season over the last three years? :x

That's almost as bad as Ben in that 08-11 stretch

Wallace just needs that deep ball slung. Ben avoiding the hit then looking to launch was perfect

Zimmer will have that D fine

TY dont deserve 14/year. He doesnt even run up the middle and its easy to manhandle him. Remember that 1 catch AFC title game performance?

Cant the Colts tag him next year though. Either way this year he will ball and he's going to have to since its a contract year and we probably found our replacement if he leaves as well as Andre being there. Justify that 14 a year...

Castanzo the LT is going to get paid next offseason too

TY is in the 10-12M at best.

Don't let the deals KC and MIA gave out for Maclin/Wallace fool you, those teams had no choice but to overpay those guys.

Dez Bryant just got paid after averaging 3 catches and 38 yards a game in the playoffs though.

Ty Hilton produced more in the playoff game vs Cinci last year than Dez did the entire postseason.

I think Dez is better but this is the NFL. One game doesn't define a career.
