You gotta ask yourself, how long can the Denver defense hold the team down until things start to go off-track? I can't imagine a team going through an entire season just relying on defense. This is a different league now. You need offense to win.

The AFC South is all flawed teams though.  If the defense is really this good it can take them far.  Not to a SB, but far.

No one is picking a team from the AFC south to win the Super Bowl though.

I personally think the AFC West is far more competitive than expected. The point I'm trying to make is that any Peyton Manning led team will have Super Bowl aspirations. Any other team besides Denver would love to have this problem Denver is having

This is EXACTLY what I was referring to. I don't think you can have those type of teams winning Super Bowls anymore. You NEED offense in this new NFL.

The AFC West is competitive but imo none of the teams really has an elite ceiling.  They're 7-10 type win teams. 

Peyton Manning ain't that Peyton Manning anymore.  That's the problem.
