I personally think the AFC West is far more competitive than expected. The point I'm trying to make is that any Peyton Manning led team will have Super Bowl aspirations. Any other team besides Denver would love to have this problem Denver is having
The AFC West is competitive but imo none of the teams really has an elite ceiling.  They're 7-10 type win teams.

Peyton Manning ain't that Peyton Manning anymore.  That's the problem.

I think it's fair to say this, but you have to ask yourself--Would he look a little better if he had a better line and run game? I think its more of a talent issue on the offensive side of the ball.

Kubiak is also a part of the problem.

Everyone would look better with a better line, but the lack of arm strength is visible and that has only to do with Peyton himself.

the problem isn't Manning.

it's the fact that Elway was a bust of a GM and let 4/5 of his offensive line walk.

and then hired Kubiak to come in with a thick headed attitude and change arguably the best offense of the last 3 years.

Kubiak should have been fired the day he decided to change what worked for Manning.

I agree with this more than Peyton loosing arm strength. I mean, you don't need a BIG ARM to win football games. Last time I heard, you need a pretty good run game to open up those big passes.
