This is so true of folks who grew up in the Carolinas...I'm older so I'm a Dallas fan because growing up you got a Dallas or Washington game every Sunday. For some reason I sided with the Cowboys. All the younger football fans in my family are die hard Panthers because that's what they grew up watching.

Die hard Cowboys fan here for reasons stated above but represent for the Panthers as well. I cheer for the Texans when they aren't playing for one of those two teams but only because I live in Houston now.

I'm from Philly so I'm 4 for 4, I love having a real connection with my teams

My fanhood in a nutshell

Are you implying that if you don't live in the state of your team, you don't have a "real" connection?

Not trying to be a **** or anything. Just curious.

This is an old, tired discussion. Just root for whoever the **** you want to root for.

yep our fanbase is very young like 35 and under except for the Charlotte area.

On to tomorrow's game though, Vick will throw for _____ yards and ______ TD's ?

I'm truly inclined to believe he'll do well though, just get it to AB early and often lol

I'll stick to ~225 and 2 TD's for Vick.

Bell's usage is already super high, I doubt they'll bump him up even more. Hell, he may have to stay in and pass protect a little more often than usual.

Really doesn't matter how many yards and touchdowns Michael Vick passes for.

Its matters if he can avoid being the turnover machine hes become recently.

Just as in the fantasy thread, I don't want to be the Vick hater (which i am not), but you guys are letting your love of Vick get way ahead of your common sense.

The guy has been washed up for multiple years now.  He admitted he didn't even look at the playbook last year and probably didn't expect to play.  Expectations should be extremely low.

I, unfortunately, agree

But hopefully the better weapons around him can give him a better chance to succeed than previous stints

Work pool got me skressed this week smh

I just feel as if Baltimore will do any and everything to avoid being 0-4

He had weapons in Philly, and still turned the ball over a lot, sans 2010.  Baltimore will be thirsty for a W after 3 close losses to start the season.  I see them having a solid gameplan against Vick, and pulling out the W.
