Can't be serious. That was awful play calling. Lucky they even scored.

Re-evaluate...

Best playmaking RB in the NFL, in his hands, must-win with Cincy being 5-0, playing with a tentative backup, lucky to be in the game even...Nah..I'd say it was ballsy, but a good call.
Ballsy, yes. Good call? No way.

It was. That play was successful in the short yardage all night. SD saw the formation, called a TO and still wasn't able to stop it. There was a clear weakness that Pitt exploited and I would've felt just as confident as a coach as I did sitting here, that that play would work in that situation.

nah man. as much as I like tomlin. that play was ******* stupid.

What If they'd missed the FG, or San Diego won the OT coin toss, scored a touchdown? Especially with Pittsburgh kicker problems. I'd trust LeVeon bell, over a kicker, or overtime decision.

The **** of it is, is what we don't get to see -- First Take or whatever, going in on Tomlin because he left 2 secs on the regulation clock by kicking a game-tying FG in a game they probably lose in OT. If I were a gambling man, I'd love my my chances with the ball in Bells hands on the 1/2 yard line.

downside of working nights is sometimes I sleep the whole next day away.

but uhh the NFL got deadspin twitter account suspended!?

wow

As bad as Vick has been playing he's keep his team in both of the games he's started.

That's fair. But after last weeks game, going for it twice on 4th down in OT, and questionable play calling all throughout this game. He would've gotten destroyed by the media and our fans. Le'veon just so happened to make the play of his life. I'll take the call and the W, but like I posted earlier, I would rather have the 3 points and tie than the gutsy play.

Getting "roasted" here is hardly anything I'd be worried about when so much is on the line, so early in the season. Coaches get paid to make decisions, not armchair quarterbacks. Some coaches have balls, others don't.

So let's see, you all would rather him let Vick pass it in that situation? There's no reason to trust Vick at that point, AB wasn't doing a damn thing, and you have Le'Veon freaking Bell. You put the ball in your best playmaker's hand. I don't agree with that particular run, but the run call was a good call.
