The Bills lost again at home, this time a 34-21 defeat at the hands of the undefeated Cincinnati Bengals. Buffalo, after that stirring season-opening win over Andrew Luck, has stumbled twice in recent weeks at home, getting shredded by Eli Manning and now Andy Dalton.

The Buffalo defense was thought to be the team’s strong suit this season, but that hasn’t been the case on the field. When asked about it today, pass rusher Mario Williams had this exchange with the media:

the usually mild-mannered Williams wasn’t shy about voicing his frustration with Rex Ryan’s defensive scheme that has called for him to drop back in coverage a lot more often than he’s accustomed to. “Playing the call,” as Williams put it, resulted in three Andy Dalton touchdown passes and the second game with more than 30 points allowed at home. Williams, who had 38 sacks in his three seasons in Buffalo prior to Ryan’s arrival, wants to be more aggressive. He has just two sacks this season.

The Lions finally got their first win of the season in a miserable overtime game today against Chicago. Lions superfan Earl Spring didn’t get to see the finish, though, because he and his bizarro world Road Warrior buddy got kicked out for, they say, standing and cheering.

The video Earl posted to Facebook today  is quite amazing:

Surprised the Manziel story blew over the way it did. He was in rehab just a few months back, surprised the team or media didn't have a problem with him drinking.

Was hitting and grabbing his girl while intoxicated but was let off with a warning. White Privilege at it's finest.

Completely agree and was surprised with that first part
