Fighting over football :x

The in stadium experience looks more disgusting week by week.
Nope don't let these dudes on NT fool you. I go to at least 6 games a year and never seen a fight. Internet and NT will have you scared bc they scared.

i mean agreed, if you just do your thing and don't act like a jackass, you're perfectly fine. but anyone getting loud, especially in an away arena, is welcoming a beat down.

DMX does have the worst story about a kid getting pissed on for wearing a visitor jersey :x :smh:

Fights have always happened though, now it's just easy as heck to post them.

It's probably fairly easy to avoid stadium fights though.

Guess it depends on where you watch the game. I'm sure not all the fan bases are as aggressive as Raider/9er fans

1 time a cowboys fan sat in the black hole and started dropping f bombs about the Raiders and someone sucker punched him and he was out cold before the 2nd Q start  :smh:

it's pretty easy NOT to get in a fight but they happen all the time at games because of alcohol which only amplifies the dudes who act like fools when sober

I'm trying to get back into football this year since I have Sundays off with this job. I despise running plays, they seem like a waste of time most of the time. All that time spent calling a play, lining up, just to have a dude run into a wall of people. My boy claims it's strategy for a setup in some cases.

I've got to follow a team that puts that thing in the air.

philip rivers just threw for 500 yards

his starting running back got benched for fumbling issues

his 2nd and 3rd backs are better at receiving

his whole offensive line and their backups are hurt so theres really no hope to run the ball anyway

he's got a great young receiver and tight end, and a HOF tight end

his special teams is trash. close to the bottom of the league in average starting field position

his defense is trash

his safeties both got hurt

his first, second, and third corners have all missed time with injury

the defense can't stop anyone so he will always be playing from behind

welcome to the Chargers bruh :nthat:

That's my thing...I go to Atlanta every year for the Car/ATL game talk big **** and see people talk big **** but never any fights. Thing is dudes get full of liquor and pride and start getting disrespectful and other nonsense. I've seen way more fights at college football games then pros bc youngings don't know how to control their mouth and let school pride get in the way of them getting slumped. Know how to act and you will be good. Plan and simple.

join the Jets bandwagon before they beat the Patriots

FitzMagic gonna lead us to the promised land :pimp:

Bolo's gonna have no choice but to sling it 60 times a game given how awful their D,O-line + running game is

Prime example.

Now when I have kids it a different story. I'll prolly wait until they are teenagers.

I used to go to mad games, seen a few fights. Don't go as much because prices going up and ****. Giants lost to Washington a couple years ago and I paid mad bread for that game. Lawrence Tynes missed a FG and we lost. That **** has stuck with me ever since. I really paid all this money to watch my team lose. But yeah, I've seen some fights but they don't happen that often.

I've never had a problem. You can really easily avoid it if you're not a ******* dummy. I don't get out to Metlife as often as I should. Gonna make the trip to Arlington next season for sure though.

This Phillip Rivers story has me wondering...

Why does a QBs team have to be **** in order for they themselves to get credit for actually being good? Or why do they have to throw for an absurd amount of yards and TDs?

Because Phil has been doing this for a few years now, albeit not on this level. Same thing with Roethlisberger last year, he had to have a garbage defense and throw 6 TDs in back to back games in order to get proper credit for being the QB he's been for about three seasons now. Or the love Andrew Luck gets for overcoming poor teammates and coaching. I get it, QBs get most of the credit and most of the blame, but we don't hold any other position in sports to that kind of scrutiny.

It's just strange logic to me.

I gave a small fist pump to myself after a missed field goal and got hit from behind

You were saying?

Generally your actions dictate how peeps are to you, especially once in your seats and area but that is not always the case. Plus walking in and out of the stadium is always a high alert scenario, even if saying nothing

Some stadiums are certainly worse than others.
I'd imagine Charlotte is pretty nice, Atlanta from experience and Indy are both pretty nice fans as well

I think for the fact that a QB has the ball in his hand on every possession he is on the field has something to do with it.

it's especially hard now to avoid when the league has become pass happy...it's become the focal point of the sport

I agree to an extent though, for a game to be trotted out as the "ultimate team" sport it can be become a bit much with the QB narratives on what you label them, how much they can carry a team

The position is beyond polarizing

I'll never forget when I met desean during his sophomore season at Cal he was talking in the 3rd person

what a ******* loser

Desean may be an ego maniac and he's got all the pretty typical unsavory L.A. ninja qualities but I'm trying to tell yall, his individual work ethic coming up was unparalleled.

I'm not buying the record label, rap distraction. Desean cares a ton it's just the passion for the gams revolves around himself (not that that's a desirable quality) and he's fragile which is understandable given his size and biuld.
