Jerry is tryna recreate the 90s Cowboys. Many players on that team had off field issues. He wants savages and he's rounding them up. Tampa wanted Hardy too.
 
Difference is now days the media is far more prevalent/ruthless and will break a guy/team down as well as player conduct penalties keeps guys off the field

AT LEAST, half the teams want nothing to do with him due to the domestic violence allegations... And those who are left, the overwhelming majority are likely already scared off by him due to how unrepentant he is, and getting himself in the spotlight while playing.


Cowboys swoop in, get him long term for much cheaper than market value for a great DE with superb pass rush ability.


Cowboys will always be the Cowboys, and one of the most talked about teams in the league. They can absorb the PR hit, and have it not impact their bottom line at all. End of the day Jerry Jones wants a Super Bowl, no matter how much of his soul he has to sell, and I ironically respect that.

I don't condone that behavior. Had I been there with nieces or nephew it would have been a problem. Disrespectful to the fans around them and gross IMO.

Honestly, I respect it way more than I loathe it.  They're so many owners in the league who let their teams sit around being dogs*#& and mediocre for decades.  It's nice to have an owner who really wants to see the team win more than anything.  That passion.  He's caked off the Cowboys plenty, and won it all 3 times, and still wants more.
