Just read Amari Cooper is the first rookie with 3 100 yard games in his first 6 since MIKE DITKA. Lawd.

Let me explain. I don't feel the AFC East believes. They talk big and all but they don't really think they can win vs NE. We've been terrible for almost 25 years. Still we've found a way to win divisions and make 2nd round appearances. Should have beat SEA when we knocked out the MVP Shawn Alexander on play 2 and made the title game.

Basically we believe. I believe. NE players are flesh and blood mortals. They can be beaten. Will be beaten. Kirk assured me of such after the Bucs game last week. He has to play well to avoid his words coming back to haunt him and my obvious slander post to follow if he loses.

Man...I love your optimism. However, I don't think we stand a chance vs. the Pats.

Going into the season, I thought we were a 7-9 win team at best. I think we're definitely on that track, but this is one of those 9 games that's gonna be a L. Shoot, in looking at the schedule before coming up w/ my 7-9 prediction, I thought this game in NE would be an automatic L.

Skins are headed in the right direction...but we're no where near talented enough on both sides of the ball (as well as with coaching) to pull off an epic upset. Trust me, I'd love to be wrong...but I'd do nothing short of betting the house that we lose next Sunday.

It's no disrespect to the team, but I think it's the reality of the situation. It's about as close to a 1-16 game in the NCAA tourney that you'd find in the NFL.

Jets showed last week they can beat NE. The longer you keep the ball out of Brady's hands (long offensive drives if it's not happening via turnovers), the better chance you have.  We were (possibly) a Marshall TD-drop away from doing so. A catch 9/10x he will make. It was that  in his hands.

Kind of overrated.

Your defense needs to be in the driver's seat. Long offensive drives that produce FG's = useless against the elites. Time of possession isn't as important in today's game.

You have to score TD's. Point blank.

Valid point. I just know the way the Jets controlled the clock on Sunday; Ivory running, 3rd down conversions to Decker.. we were keeping Brady off the field and held a lead into the middle/tail end of the 4th.

Rest assured, the Jets gave NE the hardest fought game of their season, and it goes to show how different a team this than if Rex was still here.

If Rex is still there this game against Oakland is the classic letdown game.  They're a tough opponent.  Very curious to see if the Jets take care of business after the loss.
