Saints' TE Ben Watson on pace for 76 catches, 944 yards, 6 TDs. Former Saints' TE Jimmy Graham on pace for 76 catches, 900 yards, 4 TDs.

Brees made the "GOAT" TE the GOAT :nerd:

Why did she have to have a money grab, maybe she was threatened.... I mean him did push her on a bed full of assault rifles

But that's the problem with with NTers, live and die by assumptions

Who cares if you're threatened, that's a soft way of thinking. You want people to believe what you stand for and raise awareness towards a big problem in this world then you stand your ground and fight for it. You don't let somebody buy you out because you're afraid :smh:

If you snitch on the local drug dealer in the hood, and he tell you imma have the Rolling 60 Crips handle you in you testify against me, you not going to be scared?

Not at all fam because I'm not built that way. Tell them 60s they better come through fully loaded because it ain't gonna be a cakewalk.

Not to be that guy but how do those photos definitely prove Hardy did it?

You are that guy :smh:

I've also been the guy whose brother was falsely accused of rape and later proven innocent.

I've seen the other side first hand

except Hardy was found guilty

Yeah the American legal system always gets it right.

So your brother could have been guilty?

If the girl would not have admitted the truth after feeling guilty my brother would be in prison right now.

[thread="629840"]soft way of thinking? yikes[/thread]

Yup, you took a cop out instead of fighting for a cause.

What if Greg did that to your daughter, you gonna allow her to take the money and stay shut?

Same way I think Tamir Rice and her family is soft for not going after Ray for what he did.

All of a sudden, why was none of this presented 18 months ago? 10 months ago? Wait till he gets the charges expunged to bring it up?

Again, I've said it multiple times in here, I don't care if Hardy plays for my team or not, I have no sympathy for individuals who take money instead of fighting for a real cause. This goes for men and women. She had the chance to stand her ground, have her case be heard, and bring awareness to DV but no cashing out was way more important. Miss me with the "but she was scared for her life" story too.

 do you know how expensive litigation is? Especially against a wealthy pro athlete with much more resources than you? She made the right move settling out of court. It doesn't make her story any less true.

An by law he had the ability for a second trial. You can't honor the law when it helps your argument and dismiss the 2nd part. Innocent people are rotting in jail right now who had evidence against them also.

Everyone is mad at the NFL but that's not where anger should be going towards. It's the legal system in that State the alleged crime was committed that allowed this.

What are you talking about?

The trial she didn't show up for wasn't her suing him.

I'm at law firm, I know a lot about litigation and fees. If we go by the pictures alone, she would've had more than enough supporters to fund her case if she wanted to continue.

Anger should also be at whomever did it, it's disgusting

Dan Wiederer @danwiederer 1m
Bears RB Matt Forte will not play Monday night in SD, clearing the stage for Jeremy Langford to make his first start.

Lindsay Jones @bylindsayhjones 1m
#Broncos RB Ronnie Hillman is listed as questionable, but Gary Kubiak is planning on Hillman starting Sun vs. Indy.

Cool so she's soft for settling out of court
If Greg is so innocent as yall claim why did he settle out of court? Why didn't he fight and stand up for the truth? You don't pay someone because you're afraid

Then you should know that for most people "fighting for a real cause" isn't the objective. For most people, the objective is to achieve some form of closure for what has happened to them. Collecting damages or a settlement will never give her full closure, but they sure do help.

First I'm going to do what's in my power to the murder the ****. Would I want her to stay shut? Would I not want the scumbag to get what he deserves? of course

but who am I to dictate what my daughter has been through...I do not know how she feels, I dont know how she chooses to cope..I just want to help her get through it as best she can. The legal system isnt always a checkmate in these matters, a ninja can be back on the streets in due time and cause more damage.

and like someone said, some ppl want the ordeal to be over with as soon as possible with or without monetary gains.

I have two sisters fam who have been in situations of abuse. Everybody deals with it in different manners...Not EVERYONE has the gall to be confident in dealing with their situations the same manner as you.

Not everyone wants to be the poster child for DV, not everyone is the mental state to even know how to comprehend their feelings, emotions in dealing with this.

Yup. It's why Thabo was able to take his case to court.

If that was a regular black man he'd most likely have to take the plea bargain and keep it movin.

Money talks...

BTW: It's Cowboys fans defending Hardy. That's not a coincidence. Imagine if this guy played for the Eagles or Giants
