Got a feeling the 1-2 punch of Shady and Karlos gives the Jets trouble

And Fitzpatrick is having thumb surgery tomorrow

running game has been struggling. Mangold's missed time & now Willie Colon's on IR.

Brian "the Turnstile" Winters as the starting RG makes me want to throw up

Mangold loss has hurt badly. If he goes tonight you gotta hope his injury doesn't flair up again.

Dez done messed up. Taylor is a highly respected reporter and everyone but 1 Cowboy claims no racial slur was said. Other reporters are speaking out against Dez on this one saying it was a reach and really uncalled for.

Matthew Fairburn @MatthewFairburn
Josh Johnson, not EJ Manuel, is active for the Bills' game against the Jets tonight.

Manish Mehta @MMehtaNYDN
Jets CB Antonio Cromartie is officially inactive. First time he has missed a game due to injury.

Manish Mehta @MMehtaNYDN
Dee Milliner is officially active. Will be his first game of the season.

Conor Orr @ConorOrr
A fan screams to IK as he heads into the Bills locker room: "He owes you your money!!"

Jets got a few big injuries.

Rex doesn't seem to show up for big games.

No idea which team wins tonight. Surprised to see how many Jets players have been taking shots at Rex this week.

So shouldn't you be celebrating that it is getting more attention and just not swept under the rug. That this now alerts players about the consequences of DV and other crimes? You have to make and example and start somewhere.

Making an example?

Theres at least 15 dudes who have sort of alleged or real violence against woman...I dont see people still protesting Roethlisberger or crying for Suggs to be fired but for some reason, some people still are crying about Greg Hardy when his charges were dropped.

It comes off as fake outrage.

Men have known not to hit women for the long time now...The dudes who are really out there beating women aren't going to be swayed by some DV campaign.
You think pimps are going to stop hitting their prostitutes because of the flack Hardy is taking?

Same here.

I'm pulling for Rex to get his revenge. Dude was done dirty by his cheap *** GM that got the axe too. Rex has plenty of flaws, but he did get a lot out of what he was given. I respect that.

Jets are the better team though and they're a hell of a lot more disciplined with Todd Bowles running ship. They'll probably take it.

Do you boo him and call him a woman beater at games? Do you hold your applause when he gets a tackle?

What about Tony McDaniel? Did you boo him too?

Also its ok to have a woman beater on your team if they aren't a leader?

I cheer when big plays are made. Once it's game time I cheer only for the Seahawks and not for the name on the jersey

Agree. The real issue is Hardy hasn't been properly punished in the eyes of the public. They want the NFL to dish out justice. The real reason he wasn't punished is because of the victim (who nobody is gonna criticize) and the system that allowed her to get paid instead of putting a violent criminal in jail.

The outrage and anger is being put in the wrong place. The NFL is a sports league not a correctional facility.

Respected amongst other reporters. Last thing anyone in the public wants/needs is the media against them.
i mean if they see him spaz on a respected reporter like u say then they probably wont try him as much anymore.  could work for him

i just can't respect sports reporters.  actual news reporters and journalists tackling real issues out in the field are one thing but i can't tip my hat to these guys who try to tear down those who do what they couldn't.  just seems like a miserable profession for miserable people

Your confusing modern headline seekers with legit sports reporters. Before the net and up to the second info sources, sports reporters were our only source for inside info. Nowadays due to social media we can get the story from the athletes ourselves. Still can't trust them 100%.

Outside The Lines does incredible work on sports stories. Half of which I'd never hear about if not for their work.
