No one really knows what a catch is and I don't think its the NFLs rules fault or the refs. So many different things can happen catch to catch. I think at some point we just need to accept it requires discretion and allow the refs to use it. And hopefully they came out with a ruling the majority can agree with .

Yeah, exactly.

Players swat the balls out of opposing team's hands all the time. They'd get flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct if he was on the ground for a second more.
