32 teams are starting a team from scratch and you have the 1st pick between JJ and Foster
you think a single team picks Foster? RB's are a dime a dozen in this league, generational defensive players are not

Blue stepped in just fine when Foster went down and Ben Tate as well years ago
Not to take anything away from Foster but JJ Watt is irreplaceable

Blue can improve like any player can, but he was not good last year. He couldn't read blocks and he just isn't fast

I look at how much he makes and in most situations it would be a terrible idea.
But it's obvious the Texans are in rebuild mode so they really don't have anywhere else to put that money.
I don't think he'd be able to make that money on a contending team, which is why I'm always struggling with answering is he worth that kind of money or not.
I guess if your the Texans he's worth that and probably more.

idk fam, I think JJ gets that type of money regardless of what team he plays for (rebuild/mediocre/contender) especially with the cap going up. He's worth every penny and some at this point.- Status
