How is putting Leah Still on a Wheaties box "exploiting the sick and ill"

Dudes find a problem with EVERYTHING.

If an organization is generating awareness and revenue for their cause, that's all that matters. Of course they need to get paid; how else would they fund the man power to get their message across? It's pretty simple stuff.

You make it seem like these companies aren't already paid.

How bout you put her on the box and make every purchase that month 100% donation.

Even though most of these non profits are just fronts anyways but that's for a different thread.

Yeah, a lot of charitable foundations don't donate as much as they pretend they do. Kind of sad but at the same time thats just how it happens, what can ya do?

NFL really is bad when it comes to this though. Goodell did it to himself. What a prick. NBA has so many charitable organizations etc etc set up. Really amazing how different it is.

Which is about 10,000x more than anyone in this thread will ever donate

I'm saying, it's better than nothing. Once again it's about awareness.

Its like some of y'all forgetting that there's still costs/salaries etc that have to be taken care off when they do things like that

Is like the NFL to do some new causes, men's health is grossly ignored by them and many others

@TomPelissero: Davante Adams putting on a show at #Packers camp. I'm on the hype train.

Hype train took off last January.

fresno state :nthat:

not too late to get on the bandwagon @Chester McFloppy :nerd:

Watching this Broncos game...Brock gonna be the heir apparent :pimp:

CJ Andersen is a sketchy pick in fantasy...Ball or Hillman could still win that job if he doesn't show out over the rest of preseason IMO.

brock :nthat:

Isn't prostate cancer a bigger issue then breast cancer?

It's so obvious to me why they do it but no one speaks on it because everyone's getting paid.

In the words of the great Jody "Your either a buyer or a seller"

No business is missing out on revenue for a charity  Obviously.

If you aren't donating more to cancer research than the NFL is, you have no right to criticize them. 11% of the pink products probably equals somewhere in the millions.

it's not only about charity, big business are all about the bottom line but at the end of the day it still gets the consumer to pay attention and donate. Even if just once, it can still make a difference, I hate to even say it but I am also gonna be real; I bet deep down Devon Still knows this keeps him in the NFL too because he would probably be gone from it.

I just look at it like any publicity is good for cancer awareness.

I've always thought this about Devon Still.....

Really late but did the Texans really not get in on 7 tries at the goal line  . Currently watching last nights Hard Knocks and didn't see any Texans/9ers highlights last week.

So basically since no one can bring in that revenue they are above critique? Ok

Because I'm not a billion dollar business dumb ***.

I'm also not out here wearing a Still jersey and parading her illness around for my benefit.

Your now #2 on my list only behind JJ.

Basically. How can you critique an organization for only donating 10% of their (million dollar) revenue, when you're donating far less?
