Just waiting for the "what if" crowd to come in to try and elevate Randy Moss up like they always do.

Guy has more excuses than Robert Durst.
 
What separates Randy Moss and Jerry Rice from one another is work ethic and drive. Oh and route running

Every Pats fan I know act's like Moss spent 20 seasons in NE for some reason.  I suspect most of them would have argued Jerry GOAT to this day if Randy never played in Boston.

NE fan does claim Randy so strongly which is a bit odd since he did have only a few seasons there which ended in such a disappointing and underwhelming offensive performance in the 'famous' season



Edit - forgot he spent 4 years there. Eh more than I remembered. Claim away!

The best part is that Jerry was wayyyyyyyyy more in tune with the "Patriot Way".  Whereas Moss was "straight cash homie", brash and loud... Opposite to what the rest of the organization portrayed.

But boy do they love them some Randy.

He's the best receiver we've ever had so of course he's in our hearts,nothing hard to get about that :lol:. He only played with TB for about a season and a half as well so it's also pretty bittersweet.

I think Pats fans feel that way simply because of how many touchdowns moss scored. 47 in 3 years :x

That's what I base my Moss is GOAT argument off of. It's not entirely hypothetical. If he had a GOAT QB his entire career its reasonable to believe his numbers would be even more absurd than they already are without a GOAT QB his entire career. He wasnt as privileged as Jerry.

Yah, and Jerry actually had a GOAT QB his entire career so his numbers should be better.

If all 3 had the same I think Moss comes out on top.
