Chip Kelly doesn't want personnel control with the 49ers. Then again, he claimed he didn't have it in Philly, the day before he was fired.

chip supposedly was close with tom gamble..

and one of the first strikes in the war with chip vs Howie, was the firing of gamble.. it's at that point chip went after Howie and got control

so this may have been just an isolated issue because of Howie roseman, who chip's close friend bill belichick said of Howie he's held in "low regard" around the league

I like Chip Kelly staying in the NFL. He's a very polarizing coach. I think he can succeed as long as he learns to adapt along the way.

Didn't their GM Trent Baalke have issues with Harbaugh over his stubborness and inability to be flexible about certain things? How's he gonna work with Chip?

I hope Chip kicks Jed York out from the first team meeting in the locker room and tells him it's for men only.
