Cause I don't give a damn about internet buddies, but I care like hell about her.

If a women can't give you 20 days free to root for your favorite team, especially in the playoffs then my question is how much does she care about you? I'm not married but can't picture a day where a GF/Wife would even consider pulling something like this on me. In fact she'll do things in order to provide me more comfort on those days to enjoy the game.

Plan the same date on a sunday night with a new episode of The Bachelor and see how that goes. I think that show is on Sunday night at least. Im pretty sure thats football to women.

A date and your wife are two totally different things.

Y'all are applying the same logic of dealing with a girlfriend/smashbuddy/whatever to someone's wife.

I try telling myself its just a game every time we lose in the playoffs and it has yet to make me feel better in that moment.

It's just a football game. Just like it's just dinner and a movie. Why is one more important then the other? Why does her need to go out eat and watch a movie surpass a mans to watch a football game. One you have a total of 20 days to partake in max. The other you have 345.

I can't believe this is even up for debate. My god gentleman what's happened to some of you.

The worst feeling is when you miss a game and your team loses and you have no idea what went down. It starts to have you thinking that if you were watching the game would've went totally different in your teams favor

My wife and I watch football every time it's on. But my wife is a unicorn so...

Sucks to be some of you.

It's just a game... lol... right.

In all seriousness, find someone who compromises... and compromise yourself. Communication is key, if you're not on the same page with similar goals and drive get out now.

ive always told people, from week 17 to the superbowl i can plan for things on saturday during conference championship week and weekend off before superbowl. every other weekend day is scheduled every year in advance. dont count on me doing anything but watching football :nthat:

Games are late today (KC @ NE is 4:30 EST, Pack @ Cards is 8:15 EST), but they're early tomorrow (Hawks @ Cams go at 1 EST and Pitt @ Denver is 4:30 EST).

So your game should be over by 8.

Schedule it after the game, or do dinner at a place that has tvs. Watch the game at home then finish the 4th quarter at the dinner spot, then go see Force Awakens or Hateful Eight after.

Veteran leadership right there

It has been resolved :pimp:
