@toddarcher: Orlando Scandrick has hurt his right knee. Couldn't tell if he was hurt in collision or as planted.

Orlando Scandrick being carted off for the Cowboys. And on and on it goes...

damn this like the body bag pre-season

I think it was Buc Em who mentioned it before about his perception being that this preseason has seen a lot more injuries, but I feel like it's always like this, no? That's how I feel, but I could also be desensitized to the fact that injuries prior to the season will always happen, so I naturally accept that reality now.

you are probably right, might just seem that way because two stars have already been lost in Jordy and KB and they are both skill position players

It's always that way.  Jordy Nelson's injusry could have happened during any practice, any month of the year.

Once he fills in or makes a good play, people forget

Vick seems to be in a much better place now, it's a positive the steps he took

he's def a much better person, I think he's a role model now for all the right reasons

people said it was fake after he got out of prison but he really learned from it and made himself a better person

it also seems he is a great dad and good family man which I can always appreciate it

I don't know. It's just something I'm more cognizant of because I always had that fear about it happening to Vikings players, but it seemed like every week in preseasonthere were updates left and right of players being hauled off on carts. Also noticeable because there's so much focus on it with this part of the early season.

That's how I feel. It just never surprises me or really even bums me out how it might have used to.

Then again, have it happen to Teddy or AP I'll hit depression-mode quick. Nahhhh....

Honestly both QBs finally 'got it' and turned their stuff around. But people won't focus on that, just make the usual and easy jokes. Just how it is. Vick is almost Tomlin's age I feel like

Who was the other Q?

I agree about Vick and good for you for noticing though. I barely did myself, but when I read your post, it totally reinforced a feeling I haven't put much thought into.

If you've sexually assaulted people, paid no consequences, no acknowledgement or respect to those victims, and then you get to continue living your life as a millionaire with no consequences, why in the world do you deserve respect because you got married and had kids happily a few years later.  That describes most of the scumbags who've gotten away with rape or sexual harrassment over the course of history.

Vick certainly paid his due for his actions.

I just said he turned his life around...you inferred a lot more than what I posted

But people improving their lives is always a positive

I'm just saying there's no "credit" deserved for that.  And no reason his past actions deserve to be ignored because he stopped partying and raping people after it got boring.

Football note steelers signed Doug Legersky, he filled in nicely when Pouncey was out last time

You know more than I do if you can make a statement like that. Unfortunately we won't actually know what happened those nights but he sure did put himself in bad situations. I mean just horrible decision making. Dude was an idiot at Mu as well though, never deserved to get a degree from there

pretty upsetting people cant let the past go. bunch of high horse /holier then thou type dudes in here.
Never said I was holier than anyone.  Just that I think Ben should have paid the consequences for his actions.

As it pertains to myself I've certainly paid the consequences for bad actions before, as have many people in this country.  Vick certainly paid some heavy costs for what he did.

You are acting like you know his actions though. We don't, that's the problem. It's a very large grey area. And that is acting holier than thou
