Doesn't mean Gordon's suspension is too harsh; probably means the others are too light

NFL and their inconsistency isn't going to change anytime soon

Agree on all of these cases.

Buttttt I think Josh Gordon's suspension was probably too harsh.  Don't get me wrong, with the repeat offenses he was bound to get suspended a year one way or another.  Only reason he's not suspended longer is he's not playing to get caught again.

Josh Gordon screwed up what 4 times? Still excuses for him

If you get drug tested at work and fail, whose fault is that?

These dudes need babysitters

Just read the Game Brain GQ article that's the basis of a movie coming out next year. Sad story

Randy Moss on Tom Brady: ‘I’ve Always Stood in Tom’s Corner’

Future Hall of Fame wide receiver Randy Moss isn’t someone that takes to the public without providing at least some divisiveness. Known for his enigmatic personality during his playing days, Moss didn’t necessarily make many friends within the media.

He is, however, well respected around NFL circles for what was one of the best careers for a receiver in NFL history.

Moss, who teamed up with Tom Brady for the New England Patriots’ record-breaking 2007 season, spoke out about his former quarterback and the entire Deflategate scandal at a press conference during his football camp this past weekend.

“I’ve always stood in Tom’s corner,” the former NFL wide receiver said, via the Fayetteville Observer. “I called myself a professional, but that man was definitely a letter grade above me.”

In 2010, Moss left the Patriots after three-plus seasons. There were reportedly some issues between him and the organization, but that obviously hasn’t clouded Moss’s judgement when it comes to a quarterback he shattered records with.

Continuing, Moss had this to say:

“Tom Brady is a pro’s pro. I love the man and everything he’s accomplished.”

Moss went on to show surprise that there would be so much ado around the NFL “over some air.”

The 38-year-old Moss is the latest in a long line of current and former players to come out in support of Brady as the quarterback prepares for a decision on his appeal of a four-game suspension the NFL levied against him.

It might not mean a whole bunch in the end, but at least Brady knows another one of his former colleagues supports him throughout the process.

Donovan McNabb DUI video: I’m not drunk, I have a cold
July 13, 2015
by Steve DelVecchio

Donovan McNabb was arrested last month in Arizona and hit with his second driving while under the influence charge in less than two years. Not surprisingly, the former Philadelphia Eagles quarterback insisted he was not drunk while speaking with police.

Police arrived on the scene after McNabb rear-ended another car at a traffic light. TMZ obtained video footage of the arrest, which shows McNabb telling an officer that he was taking cough medicine because he was battling a cold.

“I’ve been really sick,” he said. “I live two blocks away. I’ve just been going home to my wife and kids. I’m not into that.”

While McNabb didn’t seem wasted, he did admit that he had just left a local sports bar called Blue 32. That probably didn’t help him at all considering he was emphasizing that he has been fighting an illness.

You can see video

McNabb agreed to go through some field sobriety tests, which weren’t shown on the video. The arresting officer asked him if he has suffered any head injuries in the past, at which point McNabb said he played football. The officer told him he knew who he was. McNabb was placed under arrest after he was reluctant to go through more tests.

While McNabb was very cooperative, it’s clear he should have followed Terrell Owens’ advice. Now, the former NFL star has two DUIs on his record and has been suspended from his job as an analyst.

Seemed McNabb was suggesting he wasn't out trying to cheat on his wife in that video

I stood up for McNabb as a QB but dude needs to chill with his self righteous act now

Dez should hold out, and miss games. Show them he means business if they try to franchise him again next year

They could agree he plays under a franchise tag as long as the Cowboys agree not to franchise him again next year

Yeah that would be a good compromise. I'm sure the fact that Cowboys recently tagged Anthony Spencer twice in '12 and '13 is in the back of his mind.

Honestly if he really feels disrespected he should play out this year and next, refuse to resign with the Cowboys and collect  around 28 million. There's no way they will franchise him 3rd year which would be around 20mill a year, so then he hit free agency at 28 when the salary cap will be even higher and he can get paid.

the GOAT WR has spoken :pimp:

TO > Moss
Harrison > Moss
Gonzalez > Moss

He's definitely top 10 tho. Records are tainted for playing with cheaters but eh, still a solid player.
